Jimmy-it is soooo hard for me not to swing for the fence! After watching your videos, it really helps to remind me that I don’t have to swing so hard. Thanks man!
First of all thank you for a longer video. Really enjoy watching you manage your way through the 9 holes and I learned a ton from your overall approach to the game. Looking forward to your next video.
Jimmy, you are the best! Thank you for the tip. All the years I've been playing pros never gave me tips really, give me the money and I'll see you next week. Hey what's in your bag? Gracias!
Hi Jimmy. Finally found a teacher/golf instructor who actually showed how to go low or improved on getting better because a lot of times, I could only find how to break 100s, 90s. But very rare, I would even find a clip on how to break 80s without showing unedited version like yours. This clip is really a gem for me to see and have for my reference to help me go low or improve my skills. That's why I love and enjoy playing this game because it is a game where I feel I have a chance to get better if I put in the time to work on my weaknesses. Thank you so much for creating these wonderful clips Jimmy!!
@@billbyrnes9505 thanks so much for the info. Both of these guys could hit their 6 iron a lot longer than me 😁. My nemesis is mostly on the greens where I would 3 putt between 4 to 6 holes per round too often. Thanks again for sharing, Bill.
I love your videos and your honesty ,that's real golf and keeps the integrity of your instruction even down to the fact that you sometimes lose a ball after a semi decent shot keep it up please!
Thank you for bringing up the water issue. My friends think I watch too much you tube. But, before you tube, I told them to follow the water. If you had a water hose running from top of the green, what would it take, moving the hose, to get the water to run in the hole? Putt above the hole into the stream, and let it flow, run, to the hole.
Brother, your patience is unmatched and unworthy of us "peons" to witness.. The way you manage your way through these extreeeemly narrow faiways and miniscule greens on this course really is impressive. I promise to all reading this, my home course is fairly long, but very getable if i use your method to the madness. I am working with a 12 handy, and i have, at minimum, 2 holes where im +2 that makes my very getable 7/8 handycap go down the sh!+er...!! I absolutely love.. that i fell into this channel Keep waving to the camera and brushing it !!! 👏👌🫶 🏌🏌♂️🏌♀️
Thanks for the video!!.. I've noticed getting older my focus goes fast. For 2024 I'm going to play with that as my intent. I m going to use only irons my first hand full of rounds with your strategy; trying to maintain focus and not get into the "pull driver mentality"
Hello, I enjoy the channel. One thought I use is if you putt 3 feet short or three feet past it's generally the same thing, the only difference is one had a chance of going in and one did not. I bet almost all high handicappers leave then short.
Thanks for the video Jimmy… would you mind making a video with a „front view“ only to teach us the ball position off the deck(without teeing up) especially for long irons? I can‘t hit the 5i… i have a loftier 5wood then two hybrids in the bag but they nearly carry the same distance… my next club is an inconsistent 6i 😇
Enjoyed the shot by shot commentary. Beautiful course. My game is the opposite of yours, I'm inconsistent off the tee, and with approach shots... but my chipping and putting saves my game. I play on a very different style course, very soft greens.....which for me plays best with a face balanced mallet style putter. I noticed that you don't have a single hybrid in your bag.....any reason why?
Thank you for watching and thank you for the comment. I have a two hybrid that I use once every four rounds so it is much more beneficial for me to add an extra wedge and take the hybrid out of my bag.
Hello Margie, Thanks for watching and thanks for supporting the channel. Incase you didn't hear I released the Tropicana Golf ball this week. I wish I could play golf like that. how do you hit the ball so straight? I tried the "toe up, wave to camera, bump, sweep the floor" method today at the range. went ok, but a lot of balls faded/sliced. I played the ball off my back foot (about 2/3 balls in). Any thoughts as to why the slices?
just subscribed to Jimmy's channel because I just had a terrible 18 round with lots of hero shots, ended up w/ a few OBs and lost balls in the water and jungle .. most of the time was trying to be superman with a long stick lol
Great real life golf! I have one important question. : when you close the face to make a draw, do you rotate it first and then re grip, or just twist your wrists?
I dont have that as an active thought. Its a good position to be in but I think the right elbow stays in due to the club face being closed on the way down.
Hey Jimmy that was a lot of fun!!! My wife thought I was watching a tournament lol next to last hole she heard my saying “Get In!!!” on the missed birdie putt.I hope to see more of this kind of lesson. Thanks Did you go with the reg flex or stiff flex with your 69 driver? Thanks
