I’ve been crying after my post op hysterectomy and prolapse fix post appointment. They said don’t do weights or anything cos anyone with prolapse can’t ! I live for weights. You have stopped me crying and gave me hope ! Thank u thank u thank u . Helps so much ! Hope I find more exercises ❤❤❤
I got triple prolapse thanks to a personal trainer... Made me do the first exercise with 40kg load. I got enormous pains in the abdomen. I got endometriosis surgery because I thought that's where the pains came from. Now I lost half of my bladder capacity, on top of the triple prolapse. Surgeon did not talk about risks and denies I was in the risk statistics. Bad luck in everything...
I noticed as a kickboxer that any powerful kicking triggers the prolapse situation and i was looking for an alternative since a while... your videos are precious to me... thanks a lot.
I have my small gym at home. Thanks for the demonstrating the correct way..for legs/butt . You are my guru for prolapse.... do you have a routine with dumbbells/ bar for arms biceps triceps & shoulders. I just purchased your last DVD👌👌👌👌 I really need it as we travel. I have been doing it from the link you sent me and love it!!! no issues for my mild prolapse.
@aliciasavino9809 Hi there, I'm so glad you're enjoying the workout DVD! Lovely of you to take the time to let me know. Thanks so much for the prompt, it's really time to upload some pelvic floor friendly workouts for women. On my list to start filming now. You might like some of the exercises in this recent workout for men with my mate Bryce. I put together a pelvic floor friendly workout for men in the gym and the exercises apply to many women too. I don't do chin-ups, some women do them with ease but for many we lack the upper body strength and tend to strain. Here's the link, let me know any questions & hope you enjoy (ignore the ED title) ruclips.net/video/3TyC6DRWqCM/видео.htmlsi=Iry807E-6TUf0Gkr 🌻💕
Does this mean I should stop all the bodybuilder type exercises ? All of these are exercises that I actually do. I do believe that there should be alternatives where we can train to build muscle without compromising pelvic muscles.
Hey Madhi I think it can be helpful to know that certain exercises may be more comprising for the pelvic floor than others and to modify these exercises if your pelvic floor is at increased risk of injury or if you suffer from haemorrhoids
@cookiemonster8142 Hello there, yes, a seated abductor machine, especially slightly recumbent, isn't a problem with prolapse. Same for hamstring ball curls, they’re a lot of fun and won’t cause prolapse issues (although beware of overactive hamstrings if you’re prone to lower back pain). Otherwise enjoy! Great to hear from you, let me know any qns after your reading too, always happy to help you and keep up the good work!🙏
Hey Anthony Ape squats are really going to load the pelvic floor because of the sustained deep squat position however deck squats are a much better option and I don't see a major issue with this type of squat for most men
Hi im interested in growing my glutes but i feel my pelvic area is weak, should i start with pelvic strengthening and core strength first? I am 48 yrs old never worked out before
@Mrs. Luna I think you can start all these exercises, no need to do pelvic floor and core prior to glutes. Basic bridging exercises lying on your back and lifting the butt/trunk (progressing to lifting a weight) off the ground will not overload or injure your pelvic floor. All the best 🙏
@@michellephysio You wanted to make the video where you explain how to let the air out of the exercise ball and show it on the ball and flatten it completely. But please sit on the ball.
Hey Tom I think it depends on your body and what you're tyring to achieve. One legged dead lifts can't be too heavy as the instability created by the imbalance will increase the potnetial for strain on the spine and pelvis. I gues you could try light deadlifts single leg taking the bar just to knee level for the stability challenge however I wouldn't do it for strength gains, much safer on the double leg balanced version, cheers!
Edith there’s no need to spend that sort of cash or requirement for that sort of equipment for glutes. I’m filming a glutes & abs workout this week. Are you wanting to tone/strengthen glutes or both. I can tailor the workout accordingly if anyone else is keen to contribute here they are most welcome to
Edith any pelvic prolapse including a bladder prolapse simply means that the organ has moved out of position- this is not life threatening. The glute and core exercises I’ll show you will be appropriate and avoid overloading the pelvic floor. Prolapse severity is one key factor - women with moderate to severe (protruding) prolapse usually (not always) have greater difficulty exercising without symptoms. Otherwise the routine I’ll show you should feel quite comfortable. Do you want to strengthen, tone or both?

Edith it depends which exercises and techniques you’re doing on the DB machine, maybe let me know your DB routine cheers
