Thank you Alicia for addressing this often hidden condition that can leave people feeling devastated and powerless. You've empowered us with education to share and to make informed personal decisions about our health.
Thanks Alicia, a very thorough and helpful video. Another option is one I've been starting with. Exercises in the hydro pool (because I have hernias as well as pelvic floor issues.) Starting in the pool, where weight is off my frame, has been a great way to do these exercises before trying land exercises, as demonstrated by you. I'm sure this video will help many and is much appreciated
Thank you so much for this video Alicia.. So clearly & thoroughly explained. I suffer from a prolapse and can only do. A fraction of excersise I used to.. I have never heard of a pelvic floor physio but I will check it out but I live in Scotland so maybe why. 🤔xxx
Ello Alicia, sei bravissima! Thanks! I have a prolapse of uterus and I am pregnant. I've been weigh lifter (not that incredible weights) and cardio or hiit training, but for the moment I am doing kegel exercises plus some squats/other similar exercise with lower range of motion but without weight. Do you think I can use a small weight from now? Thanks for your video, great!
We suggest starting any exercise program with exercise you can do very comfortably and gradually building up over time (i.e., starting with low weights and progressing at your own pace). If you are experiencing any symptoms, we do recommend seeing a pelvic health physiotherapist as we can't assess you in-person.
It's has been 1 week going to Gym,since i m very very underweight and i don't know why i feel like peeing between and after the gym so I am unable to distinguish wheather its normal or not wheather i , should go gym further or not i ,m really scared and i ,m having anxiety thinking it's normal or not i ,m really sad that i tried to do something better to my body and it's reacting differently . please drop me some suggestions..
We recommend that you consult with your doctor regards this, especially as we can't be there to assess you in-person. This can be completely normal, but if you find this abnormal, it's always safe to consult rather than not!
