  • Welcome back everyone and it's my favorite time of the year. Even though Summer is still here, the migration of every fish hanging off of our coast has begun. It's a beautiful thing to witness. You may catch Bull Drum, Albies, Citation Spanish Mack, Wahoo, Blackfin. The possibilities are endless. Today, I went out of the Beaufort Inlet and found the mother load of Spanish. I ran across schools of Spanish that ranged from 18-26'' and came in from 2-3.5lbs. Precious Metal Lures and Beach Bum Lures paved the way and made it a catching day and not just fishing. Also, big shoutout to Sportsman's Wholesale and Live Bottom Performance Gear for supplying me with the best rod and reel combos along with the proper clothing to keep me dry. Check them out if you're in town for the best deals around on the best name brands!!
    Rod/Reel: Tsunami Carbon Sheild 7'6'' Med/Fast paired with a Daiwa BG3000
Jigs: Green/White Beach Bum Lure and Pink/Silver & Green/Silver Precious Metals Lures all in the 1oz.

They’ve been thick front the Beaufort inlet past the Oceana Pier. Albies are getting thick too. Just let the birds lead you!
