    Thanks, Aaron. Another use of Watermark is to sign/ title a scene (an overlay of info). I appreciate thses quick videos, thank you.

    Of course one of the main use of imagery in SketchUp is using it to create a texture. This can be done via Import 2D Graphic or Create New Material commands.

    I would like to make a 3d of my GMC motorhome interior. Using a picture of the blue print. I have already gutted out so it will be easier to make the build. I think that by using those drawing skills, I may make templates very accurate for cabinets, and drawers and bed so I may live in it as a full time RVer...

    Nice thanks. Above and beyond the call of beauty.

    It would be nice if you could show your take on using match photo when you have multiple photos available for the same object. For example, several views of the same room or four pictures of the four corners of a building.

      Consider it added to "The List"... of course... now I have to go figure out how to do that....

      @@AaronMakingStuff Get away! I'm sure a man of your talents can make this happen :-) I've always had a problem with match photo, I seem to screw it up too easily.

    I use watermark of a video that is created in PS and has an engineering or a drafting frame. So during a printout I have a frame, and title block. The negative side is I could not get the frame to the size of my printed paper, as it only conforms to the screen size.

      Ps.. you can make a frame/title block in SketchUp itself without using watermark too...I print at 1:50 generally (to pdf, then print hard copy from there, saves ink if proofing and if print doesn't work for some reason)...so I make a frame/title block that fits just inside the print area, at 1:50, save scenes to line up with this frame, and the model or part of it sits in the frame, and is moveable. Works great in parallel perspective, and also in perspective view but with a bit of fiddling to make sure text sits in the same plane as the title block, so stays the same size...

    I've destroyed more than one model by accident by hitting New Match Photo instead of Texture and then not knowing what I was looking at or what to do with it. Even edit undo didn't work. I wish they would add a warning pop-up after you click it so that you're aware that something strange is about to happen.

    hello ... I really need help from you. I have designed this building for almost 3 weeks. then just now a problem is happening to me. the main design that I made to the group, I made it hide using layers. then I continued to design the tower. after the tower design is complete. I press CTRL + S. and that the main building design is still in a condition I hid in the layer. I clicked to show it again but until now the main building has not appeared. Please help me. I am very tired of designing this building.

    Hi there, I just want to delete the matched photo and keep the same perspective after modeling. Can you please let me know how to do that?

    • @SketchUp
      @SketchUp  2 года назад

      To delete a match photo, just delete the scene that it is attached to.

      @@SketchUp But in that case my project will be deleted too. I want to delete the photo AND keep the project at the same perspective angle view. Any help? Thanks

      Deleting the Scene will get rid of the image and match Photo setup. Anything you have modeled in that view is a part of the model and will still be there. If you are deleting the scene and nothing is there it means that you have not actually modeled anything. The best way to get help if this is not the case is to post a copy of your model to our forum (forums.sketchup.com)... RUclips comments is a rough way to troubleshoot!
