  • Maximize Hyatt Family Vacations with NEW 2024 Program Changes!
This video breaks down all the exciting changes you need to know, including:
    - Sharing is caring! Now, share certificates and awards with loved ones for epic family adventures.
    - More choices, more rewards! The revamped Milestone Rewards chart offers amazing options for free nights, suite upgrades, and wellness experiences.
    - Unlock Globalist-like benefits for less! Learn how families can reach the 40-night milestone and score perks like club lounge access and suite upgrades for family vacations.
Packed with insights and actionable tips, this video will show you how to leverage some of the new Hyatt milestone rewards!
Here are the perks you get as a Globalist:
    - Waived resort fees, including on eligible paid stays
    - Club Access or free breakfast for up to four registered guests (two adults and two children)
    - Room upgrades, subject to availability
    - Elite check-in and late checkout
    - Premium Internet
    - Bottled water
    - Free parking on award nights
Here are some additional tips and information:
    - Milestone rewards require you to select it within 90 days. Else you will forfeit the reward! I’ve done this two years in a row where I forgot to click the 40 night selection and lost ability to choose. I was given a one time courtesy of 5000 points each time.
    - The Giver of Guest of Honor will also get 1 night per certificate (regardless of duration of stay). For 2024 year, that means Globalists can get an additional 5 qualifying nights if you use all 5 certificates that they have given.
    - The Miraval Extra night is basically a Buy 1 Get 1 certificate.
    - You are allowed to combine your FIND experience credits so if you stack them all up, it’s a pretty good amount.
    - The 2K Next Stay is earning 2000 Bonus points at Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Caption by Hyatt or UrCove hotels only.
    - You MUST be a World of Hyatt member in order to receive an award as a gift.
    - Lifetime Globalists get 5 Guest of Honor certificates each year.
    - The legacy guest of honor benefit (calling in after using the 5 certificates) will only be for award point stays.

Thanks for sharing some great tips. What do you do when you try to book a Hyatt room that has a maximum occupancy of 3 people but you have a family of 4( 2adult+2 children )and the youngest child is 5yrs old.

My answer would depend on which country you're booking that Hyatt. Many international Hyatt hotels have very strict max occupancy rules due to Fire regulations. I know people that have skirted them successfully by sneaking people in. However, I have also heard of horror stories where people were forced to pay for a last minute room at full standard pricing. One unique benefit for Hyatt is the Family Rate, when booking the second room. Many properties allow for a second connecting room to your first one at say 35 - 50% off. We leveraged this for London and Paris. We also held rooms in Tokyo but never used it due to a last minute change in plans.

Thanks for your detailed videos. I’m New to the points game and have our first Hyatt trip planned for Nov. Any tips on getting a guest of honor pass legitimately?

I think there are FB groups that explicitly are for "gifting". Also, follow Travel hacking creators on Instagram, maybe gift out their Guest of Honor certificates usually at the end of the year.

Any other hotels with good club access besides what you mentioned? I have had to burn my club access awards in the past . Hard to find hotels that still have club access

Hi Jen, you're correct. Unfortunately, several of the urban Hyatt Regency's have decided to pull lounge access. However, there are still a lot of gems to be found. I did a quick scan of recent trip reports from some globalist forums and here are some that have had really good reviews: Grand Hyatt Shenzhen, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Grand Hyatt DC, Hyatt Regency Malta, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka

Also the Grand Hyatt Singapore (recently remodeled) and the Grand Hyatt Manila, Philippines.

I have noticed many have returned in recent months. Tbh I usually prefer the restaurant breakfast benefit to what is offered in the lounge so it's disappointing for me.
