Man EVA Sucks!! I booked with them and I couldn’t even select my seat without a additional fee!! So my question is: I already booked a economy flight using Chase UR points in the Chase Portal. Can I still call them and upgrade my seat? Since I was not able to select a isle seat like I prefer then I am scared I will be stuck in a middle seat.

I have a bunch of amex points. Alaska airlinese isn't a transfer partner for MR points. Would this still be possible to do if I transfered to partners?

I got a targeted AmEx Plat 150K offer. Met the spending req of $8K in 6mo within the first billing cycle. Transferred the 158K MR pts out to delta & cancelled the card. AmEx had to refund the $695 AF. They sent me a nasty e-mail about "gaming" the system & not using the card in good faith. Confiscated the rest of my 693 MR points. Got them good!!!

You can try to fill out a pre-approval form to see if you qualify and they may also get you targeted mailers that you are more likely to be approved for.

Had the same issue. Was denied twice for the AA card. What I did was wait 6 months and applied for the AA business card and was approved. Just 2 weeks ago, I opened a Citi checking acct and Applied for the Citi AA Executive Card a week later and was approved. Take those CITI rules with a grain of salt. Ive gotten 37 cards in the last 2 1/2yrs. Also, I've had 3 hard inquiries with Amex but I've also had 19 Amex cards and currently have 11.

Applied for the Barclays aviator, business card same set up is your sign up bonus.

I only have one Citi premium card, the Custom Cash originally was a Diamond Preferred pc’d to a Premier and then pc’d to a Custom Cash card. I have tons of Citi co branded cards though their underwriting for their co branded cards are more laxed. Citi co branded cards would be a easy way to build a history with Citi to grant the premium card approvals if you have trouble being approved for any.

Man I have that credit card, and I hate it!!, If I pay it from the website they withdraw the money from my bank account the next business day, but it takes 10 days for them to apply that to my balance in my account, so I have to either pay from the web then wait 2 days and call customer support and "ASK" them to apply my balance or use the pay by phone option with applies my payment immediately They issue my CC with 1500 credit limit even though I had CC with +10k credit limit back them, this was in 2022, they have denied all my requests for a credit limit increase, I have always had more than 720 points of credit. The always say they cannot increase my limit because my card does not have the required open time, but when I ask them what is the minimum required time they told me it was 6 months or even some other support agents told me that a year was needed., last time I request an increase I had almost 2 year with the account open. With a family of 4 members 1500 USD is not enough most of the time to buy 2 way tickets Customer support is TERRIBLE, yes put that work in bold and italic, I also had the Citi double cash credit card, and support there is awesome. Not sure why is that bad on the American Airlines program. One day I received and offer on this CC saying that if I open a checking account and deposit X amount of money, spend some other money, and keep the checking account for 60 days then they will give me some cash, in 30 days after completing the qualifying activities. Guest what?? 45 days after completing the activities no money came to my account, I called support number several times in the next 7 days. Do yo think the fixed my issue??? AHH, they do not EVEN knew about my promotion, it took me 3 trips to a branch over a 2 month period in order to make it valid Rewards on this card are miles, but as you know the actual value of that varies according to the time and the AA will The only reasons I keep this card opened are 1- I live in Miami each time I have to go to Miami airport AA checking line is huge, but having this card I can check in in the priority line 2- With this card first check bag is free in national flights, so just by having to national flights in a year you can save almost 80 usd with is close to the annual fee of 99 usd Now you guys can see why this is my favorite card to be placed under my chair and not spend a dime on it

I opened a checking account a year ago with Citibank, an authorized user on P2 Citi Costco Anywhere Visa Card, have two months to go to be 0/12 since I have been gardening since Nov 2023, will be applying Citi Custom Cash and U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card on the same day whom I bank with and have U.S Bank Cash+ Both banks are inquiry sensitive.

Great video! I have a similar experience with American Express. They say that I have to many new credit cards, but refuse to tell me what that number is. When I call the reconsideration line they blame Equifax and when I call Exquifax they blame American Express. I will say that American Express trains their people well because all of the representative use the same script and language.

Bilt with the 1000 bonus cap on rent day also makes the math less favorable for it. You can also no longer get bonus points for tax payments either. And expect more devaluations in the near future. Bilt is going to eventually be worthless outside of 1% on rent. Also how can you compare these as Travel cards without actually including any travel in your budget? 5X on flights,hotels, car rentals, cruises makes a huge difference compared to the 2X on Bilt, or 4X only on rent days.
