    Awesome, thanks for this. I had no idea this existed and I've been looking for something like this. Been running out of space in my mac rollcab, and junky sunex cart, was looking for a good size cart with good storage because my rollcab is hurting for space and a new one just ain't in the budget yet. This has great storage and utility, going to look into it.

      +LexLuger No problem....glad to help! This is definitely a big upgrade over the standard thin/flimsy carts (just like I have parked beside this one with the open top).....the boxed frame construction really adds to the overall strength it seems.

      +Arson
      TIG or MIG welder + gas $500
      Angle grinder, files, abrasives $100
      AD hood $50
      Husky tool chest $300
      couple of hours at the scrap yard $20
      primer & paint $30
      total: $1000
      and you can make it however you want, save $500, get a welder and other tools, and you made it yourself ....

    • @thalegacy6
      @thalegacy6 6 лет назад

      I agree it's overpriced when you can get a husky tool chest with a laminated wood top for about 300...

      +bighunterman77 Haha....the current one is not huge.....just layed out well & not piled up with junk. We are building a much larger shop soon....and a tour of that one will be on the top of the list once it is complete. Good suggestion!

    + Real Tool Reviews Are those giant torque wrenches by the skidmore?

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 лет назад

      +Jordan Ponce It is actually one giant torque wrench --- it is a Proto 1" drive that has 2 extensions & is about 9' long ---- it goes up to 2,000 ft-lbs & I will be using it in upcoming videos when we do breakaway torque testing & time comparisons to remove nuts/bolts.

    Real Tools Reviews What is your favorite power tool manufacturer?

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 лет назад

      +CATERPILLAR I dont really have one specifically.....there may be certain tools that I prefer depending on the brand (i.e. - Makita cordless circular saws), but I am not "loyal" to any one brand. I guess it is sort of like mechanic tools (sockets, ratchets, impacts, etc).....having a good mixture allows you to pick and choose the best in each category & you arent stuck with the certain items that may be sub-par. The main advantage to cordless power tool lines is the fact that you can use the same batteries & chargers if you go with one lineup, but keep in mind that no single manufacturer makes "the best" of everything.

    • @caterpillar5574
      @caterpillar5574 9 лет назад

      My favorite is Makita its what my dad has and its what i have . I have a couple drills that are 20 years old still running like a champ. Thanks for answering back .

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 лет назад

      +CATERPILLAR It is hard to go wrong with Makita....they make some awesome tools across the board. Thanks for watching! :)

    $1600 for that rapidrill accessory! Holy cow!!!

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 лет назад

      +Wizard92595 Not cheap, but a very fast & effective alternative to a Mag drill which is what they are going after. They do have a cheaper model coming out soon (I saw on their website), but I dont know an actual cost on it yet.

    Why would you mount the vise in almost the middle of the table and not offset it??

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  6 лет назад

      I mounted it in the corner...the base had to be oriented in a way to miss the support post of the frame underneath.

    • @SLIDEWAYSLIDEWAY
      @SLIDEWAYSLIDEWAY 6 лет назад

      Real Tool Reviews It looked like you mounted closer to the middle. Regardless you wouldnt be able clamp anything vertical in the vise.

      @@ThemadViking793 yeah I went with another Snap-On. Deal I couldn't walk away from (3200 off) and I watched it get unloaded about 4 months ago. These are still tempting, but with lack of response from the company "Pre-Buy" it's already unsettling. How's the support 2 years from purchase ya know

  • @bighunterman77
    @bighunterman77 9 лет назад

    man...i mean it's nice, but 1500 nice? i dunno...you can get a nice used classic series snap on box for lust a bit more than that...but it is cool, no doubt about that

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 лет назад +2

      +bighunterman77 I guess it is one of those things that either fits someone's budget or not.....you know with Snap-on, it is not cheap, but MOST of the time you are getting high-quality. I think this is the same way.....BETA is huge in Europe & has quite a loyal following.

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 лет назад

      +that guy 48 Thanks! As far as price....they are in really two different categories as far as construction and quality.....the Milwaukee is aimed at the homeowner/diyer/"pro-storage" for contractors --- not mechanics. The BETA construction and quality is at the top with all the truck brands.....for the guy paying $500 for a specialty tool & $10k for a scanner....tool box costs are really not that much in the scheme of things.
