I love how this channel is more than just foam really one of the better tool channels out there
That really means a lot to hear mate, thank you! 🙏
There’s something about you voice that I could sit and listen to you all day long and still feel like I’m ready to work not sleep like I am with most other people videos.
Loved the Black Wrenches. Will be looking to purchase a set of those.
Link in the description 👀
Bosch just released a set of VDE Electrician Tools and a varity of pipe grips
Be a shame if I got those 👀
@@ShadowFoam oh a total shame 😂😂😂😂
That Bosch detector is spot on, I’ve used it for easily 5 years and has always been accurate
I love using Bosch and Bahco tools. Please consider doing a Bahco themed panel.
I will definitely consider it! 👍
I have a couple of Bosch power tools: 1 big corded SDS Max rotary hammer (GBH 8-45DV), 2 corded SDS Plus rotary hammer, 1 corded jigsaw, 1 big corded angle grinder (2200W), 1 small corded angle grinder (1400W), 2 cordless drills (18v) and a cordless SDS rotary hammer. all of them are professional an I am very pleased with them. my oldest Bosch power tool is a SDS Plus rotary hammer from 1993 and because I took care of it, I use it to this day
What about a budget tool wall? Parkside maybe??? Or a Wera tool wall on the opposite spectrum. Great channel keep up the great content
Had the Bosch Detector for years, super accurate and reliable.
Id like to see some Ox Tools, I have a few bits from them, levels, square, pencil, folding knife, crowbar type thing, hammer, ratchet screwdriver and it all seems pretty decent. They do tons more stuff too
Definitely ox tools are so good the levels are so good
I am looking at putting together an ox tool set 👍
Beautiful. As a Bosch person, love this layout and setup. Don't get the Bosch hand tools that often here in the U.S. but wish we could. Something really satisfying about seeing the tools go up on the wall! Great video!
The hammer shown in 2:05 min. is the most commonly used hammer in Germany called "Deutscher Schlosserhammer" which means German fitter's hammer. Used by every fitter, mechanic or electrician in Germany. Usually in size 300gr. or 500gr.
I've been sooooo waiting for this Build. Bosch Professional are my go-to tools. Waiting patiently for the VDE Variants! Great Job Jono!
How did you know I had VDE variants? 👀
The VDE hand tools are on the Bosch Professional website.
Great video as always. Bosch makes quality tools. This coming from a long time Bosch power tool User Professionally for 25 years.I love Bosch! Much Respect
Let’s go!!!! It’s beer o’clock and time for a sit down with a Shadowfoam tool review!
LET’S GOOOO! Bosch Time! 💪
Greetings from the US. Bosch is an underrated brand by hand tools. I love you doing the hand tool video of them. Here in OK at Lowe's or Home Depot you are limited to Bosch power tools. The hammer is a standard German hammer. I love that you have a craftsman background and are open to different brands.
Bring on the Wera Wall!!!!
...and a KNIPEX wall for that matter.
I have worked for years with bosch blue and good quality. Love to new different brands you introduce to us as well
You included the detector but not the laser measure. Ive been using jt for about a year abd its always been accurate. A very handy tool
love how he shows all these unique tools from around the globe
Cracking info about tools, makes realise how untidy my tool boxes are.
It's great to have someone from the UK producing this level of content. I'm a DIY Bosch Fanboy so watching this video is probably gonna cost me
Great video. Our VDE range tools launched in May as well as a number of other product you asked about. Our next Live stream will be on the entire current hand tool range.
Love my Bosch stud finder. Never let me down.
Love the handle for the recip blades. Such a simple but brillant idea.
Glad you like it!
@@ShadowFoam also gotta buy some shadowfoam once I build more drawers for my Workshop.
Do like the look of the spanner set.
“Hey guys, Jonathan here and today we’re building”
Ahhh zen for a good video coming up
I have spent the last 3 years converting over to Bosch Professional 18V and 12V tools, you just can't beat the quality. Another great video Jonathan!
Right on! Thanks Chris 👍
Just got my starter shadow foam kit, Blue, can’t wait to use it for my router case. Great video keep up the fantastic work👍👍👍
Enjoy it! And be sure to send me some pictures of your finished product! 👍
Something I would like to see is a trawl around car boot sales to see if you can get old chisels mallets and hammers. Polished up I think they would look good in a stained frame and shadow foam.
Bosch seem to make some quality tools. Thanks for showing them off and your top 5. Love the detector.
That blue one really popped, looking forward to the power tool wall now, great video today.
You and me both! Which tool from this video was your favourite?
@@ShadowFoam I was interested in the saw/knife. I have not seen that before, is it plastic or metal?
Well done to all the winners. That Bosh ratchet spanner sent sounds awesome.
Great video. Looking to upgrade some tools and those spanner and screwdriver are great for the price point.🎉
I am a bosh nut as a result I love the blue shadow foam. I have always wanted more unusual bosh tools
Any tools in this video catch your eye?
@@ShadowFoam yes manual screw driver and the electric screw driver
Very cool, I enjoyed that SATA kit from the previous video as well. Those sockets I've seen in the craftsman Max access kit as well.
Just over a year ago, I bought a Crescent CPTAW8 off Amazon, very similar to the SATA. I'm a Maintenance Engineer, and this tool has been used at least once a week since the day it dropped on my doormat! Brilliant bit of kit and versatile too.......
Thanks for the info! Glad you’ve got your hands on such a wicked tool! 👍
Hi Jonathan what are the shows you will be exhibiting at the next couple of months I need to grab a few boards at a show price cheers have a great weekend and Father's day.👍
Love the channel, especially the way you explain what you are talking about, like the VDE pliers, very handy for beginners, I dont need it as I know everything LOL. I previously bought one of the Sata sets, unfortunately the ratchet fall apart the first time I used it, and it was putting an Ikea table together.
Awesome, thank you! I just love talking tools, thanks for your input mate 👌
First time here. Love this type os Chanel. A safe place for who loves tools.
Good to see a Bosch wall. I am a big Bosch tool user. I believe the vde set is coming out along with some water pilers also they do a digital level / angle finder.
I love the number 5, handle for recip blades , will be getting one for my personal use , they look awesome , love the videos keep them coming ❤👍
Glad you like them!
Tools Display on the wall was amazing. But the tools drawer idk. Haha
Good choice of brand and spot on to tune up with the football
Thanks a lot mate, who’ve you got winning tonight?
#2 also takes a lot of signals from sliding on the wall...thought it to be better than it is...but the small drills and 12v tools are amazing. Been using mine for years and been really happy of those. Was expecting you to have a rachet set, but you beat me to it with the #1.
Awesome Friday night ;, Euros kick off & Shadow foam Vid ; beer in hand watching Jonathan make another cool shadow foam display , 1st Euros game not looking good for Scotland just yet but roll on Sunday for England and roll on for next Friday shadow foam vid
I've waited for this vid :D
Glad you finally do a Bosch Pro Tool Wall
I could only ignore all the Bosch comments for so long 😅 glad you enjoyed it mate, which tool was your favourite?
@@ShadowFoam Im a huge fan of the Screwdrivers
Hi,
The foam is rely nice and i think its a great deal (the color Grey would be Great). As an other Panel i would really like to see a toolkit with all Knipex tools and maybe some Wiha screwdrivers these tools are the manly used tools (electrical and installation) hand tools in Germany and there is also an powered vde (1000 v proof) powered screwdriver.
Absolutely love my Bosch 12v drill/driver and impact driver. Lightweight but powerful enough for anything I throw at them. Would love to see a setup for these.
I did a similar video a few years back, worth searching out 👀
Another great review mate, being a Bosch professional tool user myself extra points 👍. Really like the screwdriver set, will definitely be having a look at them. I just bought a set of ratchet ring spanners. Why couldn’t you have made this video a week earlier 😂😂
Hi I’m from Australia I have not seen most of the tools that you have listed but I will be looking for all at our Bunnings hardware store nice job on your video I like to see what you find thanks again
Hi Johnathan. I’ve never thought about Bosch hand tools before but they look pretty good
I’d reccomend giving them a look, they are a solid addition to any tool kit!
I had a green Bosch drill. I sold it . I wish I still had it I loved that drill.
Those wrenches (spanners) looks pretty cool and they're available in singles too. Might have to pick up an 8 mm and a 14 mm.
Great video as always! Any planes to do a VDE (Insulated) tool kit video? I’ve got a drawer in my box set aside for this but not too sure what’s good and what’s not.
Seen their range never bought any think after watching this that’s going to have to change! Great video!
Glad I could help! You won’t be disappointed!
The bosch professional range is a neat little range tbf. I've had the table saw for a good few years and its not too bad.
I could watch these videos all day
I really love the BOSH quality hand tools especially the spaners I work with spaners everyday and that fine adjustments would be really good.. I wasn't a were that BOSH made spaners.....Thanks for showing us the BOSH tools
I love the shadow foam, i have never used it but it looks cool.
Just bought the pliers a month ago and am really happy with them.
Really happy to hear that mate, it’s a solid too 👍
Those spanners are definitely the number 1 spot. So many times a ratcheting spanner just wouldn't work in a small space, these would have been a life saver.
I agree, it was a nobrainer to me
Those ratcheting spanners look really good. Need to look into them.
Another great video! Have you ever nearly completed cutting out a board and then messed up causing you to start again?
Not yet, I’ve moved the layouts around a little bit but I take my time and that means no mistakes
Absolutely love the black finish on the spanners, everything looks good in black and red, everything iv put in foam is the black and red foam lol, only my dewalt set I did in yellow tho
Another great video would be great to see a shadow foam tool kit😊
Loving the videos keep em coming
Thanks! Will do!
Bosch Powertools 12V are really good. You absolutely need the flexiclick, and the mini angle grinder, and the mini circular saw....
BTW: Bosch has VDE certified tools, f. ex. 14 screw driver kit (1600A02NF9) or 7 part mixed kit (1600A02NG3)
I really enjoyed this video! Here in Germany we tend to be to confident with our German made tools. And forget to see that some are just trash. Bosch Professional is one of the Brand we get our confidence from to brag about German Quality 😂😂. Love your Videos, thank you so much ❤
Ive looked for the sata spanner but can't find any I'd love to buy some tools from you ive seen loads of bits that would be useful your channel is brilliant 👊
u always bring cool stuff
Thanks mate I do try 👍
What do you do with thebags/pouches etc that the tools originaly come packaged in? Excellent channel content btw
Hey jonathan, great video as always! 2 quick things: I'm trying to find the SATA waiting list link, but I don't think it's on the description and I can't find it on your website (on mobile, havent tried desktop yet), so I'd really appreciate a link! I'll 100% be buying a set. I got one of those quickchange screwdrivers from canada you did and I love it! Second thing, have you thought about doing a drawer with draper powertools? I know it's very UK-centric as i've not seen their powertools anywhere but here, but theyre rock solid bits of kit! Cheers from the north!
That looks sick!👍
Thanks James, which tool was your favourite?
Bosch flexi click is amazing. Use it constantly.
Another great video, Bosch taking their time and getting in right first time to be fair it seems.
That spanner set looks nice and useful. I have the Gedore version of the silent ratcheting screwdriver and really like it. Gedore hand tools would be a good one for a tool wall and they have a good VDE range. BGS is another German tool manufacturer or Draper tools for a British one.
Very good choices here mate, appreciate your input! 👍
Lovely stuff brother
I'll suggest taking out the batteries out of the Bosch stud finder and the [measuring tape(maybe) incase they have replaceable batteries instead of rechargeable in-built ones to avoid battery drainage and overtime battery terminal corrosion/rust.
the water level doesn't have a dome shape, that would make it way worse, that's a fisheye effect of magnifying glass focused on the center.
Thanks for that info mate! 👍
Another great video cheers
I actually got the handle for recip blades in the green version. It's the exact same thing as far as I can tell except it only comes with one blade. And I got two of those little electric screwdrivers for my company. We do events and we never know who will be handling it which means this thing being weak compared to an 18V cordless drill is actually a good thing. Semi-random people won't be able to easily rip screws apart with it.
Besides that I'm already mostly Knipex'd out so no need for the Bosch pliers.
Can’t stop watching these videos
That’s Edward, what did you think of this one?
@@ShadowFoam great as usual !!! Very informative and quality advice especially as I’m looking into getting my own tool set but indecisive when it comes to brands. 🤙❤️
Have you done a full aldi workzone board, would love to know if thier actually any good. I do have a aldi drill and driver combo set when it was ferrex that has lasted me 6 years
A small correction at 12:50
Yes, it's a Bosch GSR, but that's a bit misleading. In Bosch terminology, GSR just means professional drill-driver, and GSB means professional hammer drill-driver (professional compared to the personal green series, which starts with P, and hammer drill with the little vibration hammer, not the proper elector-pneumatic rotary hammer).
The story about attachments you presented is instead called FlexiClick in Bosch terminology, and the tools which use that have an FC suffix, so for example a drill driver with flexliclick would be GSR 12V-35 FC. Once you put the name through the decoder ring, you'd get professional drill-driver, 12 V, 35 Nm torque, with FlexiClick attachments.
thats another good layout video the blue foam suits the Bosch tools , but get to more tool shows i really enjoy your walk rounds hunting the weird and quirky tools. Ive just had a thought after browsing the webite you should offer the choice of mixing the colours in the starter packs, i have dewalt, makita and bosch tools and it would be nice to have the right cooured foam for each set of tools
Great thought thank you! Installers show looks good 👀
That Go screwdriver is a fantastic bit of kit. It's not officially available in the US, so I had to get an import. Unfortunately, mine didn't come in the L-Boxx mini. The recip blade handle also isn't offered over this way. Bosch have released some VDE pliers recently, but I don't know if they're generally available in the UK yet.
I bought a corded Bosch jigsaw in 1977 when I first went into business. I have favored Bosch tools ever since. When I went to buy cordless I bought the 9.2 v or whatever it was then moved up to 18v when they quit working. I mostly use a drill or impact drive but I thought they were getting older so I switched to Makita because of the tool choices. I have had to buy 4 Makita drills because of broken gear box over the years. Meanwhile the Bosch are still going strong. I am an old cabinet maker so they get a good workout. I looked to buying another drill and Bosch makes an 18v drill driver tool with 4 heads so 4 tools in one. It would look good in shadow foam.
It would look great in Shadow Foam! Thanks for letting me know your history with Bosch!
Love Bosch good idea thanks
Bosch wall looks great
Bish, bash and Bosch. I have the blade handle, which I rediscovered in my garage from 2012, It is a great item to have. I have the stud finder as well, I purchased it with a mini laser/ level. I have multi tool, mini driver and impact driver, I love them, so powerful and perfectly balanced in the hand. I must say, I sold on the ratchet spanner’s. I’m now going to Amazon to purchase😃💵💵
Link in the description 👀
Need to do Bosch professional power tool range 12v and 18v I use them for work and like them so much bought some for home use as well
Great idea mate! Which tool was your favourite from this video?
Thank you for introducing me to toughbuilt
i must get to organise my workshop better, and i will be using Shadow foam to help do it.
Another great tool board with some interesting tools, any chance of some more erbauer tools and equipment coming to the channel soon?
Have you seen my past ERBAUER video?
@ShadowFoam I've seen the one where you cut the foam into there mid box with the circular saw sander and drills, not seen one since unless I've missed one of them
They recently released a lot more hand tools, water pump pliers, pliers wrenches, cable shears etc plus a whole new VDE range.
Hi, I can't find a link for SATA tools, I would be interested. Good video's, keep them coming
I think draper do the same spanner set, look very good!
Heated jacket? Would love to see a video short of that!
Not sure watching your videos is such a good idea!
Makes me want to go out and buy tools unnecessarily 😅
