When you get into that bracket typically the staging is just to give some ideas & most buyers will get an interior designer to pretty much make it more tailored to them if that makes sense. Even the bespoke furniture that it may come with you’ll probably end up replacing or trying to strike a deal for the property minus the furniture
Don’t even see £2.5m in this property, let alone £5m. The footprint of the house is very basic, it’s just a large version of a new housing development build. Lost of square rooms, didn’t take much creativity in the designing.
It reminds me of a child's first house build in The Sims 🤣 a huge rectangle with square rooms inside, plus maybe one "wonky" wall where one room protrudes

Ppl complaining about the property not having colour / character. It’s a renovated to sell property and they usually build with minimalistic approach to appeal wider customers.
Very nice practical design, only criticisms would be that the kitchen lacks any natural light, windows. Also the outdoor area lacks a nice covered patio area with outdoor fireplaces or built in BBQ. For an extend and modernised property they did a fantastic job. If it is a new build then I think there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to the design. Finishes are way above average though considering the price tag about on par.
You can tell it’s built by a developer without much money out into planning. Missed so much on opportunity to make it amazing. So many ideas lost in a block off style. Those lights in the movie room feel like tiny stars in the sky. You pronounced the names of the appliance brands correctly. Are there drawers in the kitchen island? My mother is those some people who prefer a gas stove. Tiny blinders inside the window. Bathtub with space to put stuff on the sides, yes please. Top floor wardrobe is huge. A lot of natural light everywhere in the house. It is so nice. Overall a really nice rich people house.
For 4.95 Million I would be looking at a grand Edwardian Country house with finest brickwork and high ceilings...with Stables for conversion and 2 acres of land...
Absolutely soulless property both inside and out. Low ceilings and light brown carpets everywhere. Sorry, but buyers of £5m properties would normally want parquet flooring or something similar in the reception rooms at least. This has rental property written all over it. The kitchen is decent. And an upstairs laundry is welcome and demonstrates some understanding of the target market.
I was also thinking with the amount of people that have allergies nowadays, carpet would be horrendous. And also with kids and dogs... I would rip that all out immediately. Would have been better to use wooden floors and then rugs. Though, probably, because they only use blinds and no drapes, they need to have it for the acoustics. Though, also wondering what happens when a blind breaks/something goes wrong, do you need to replace the entire window?

Beautiful grand property. Am not too fond of the interior but that is a personal choice. I think a property from this grandeur should sit on a private piece of land and should not be built so close to the neighbouring homes. Nevertheless the garden is very private which is a big bonus.
Pretty decent, triple glazing for UK is important and sometimes over looked. Size and rooms are decent, garden could have been better. Laundry room on 1st floor seems good but wonder if the bedroom next to it will suffer. A shame they did add a basement layer also. For this price should have been there.

That would have meant a smaller house or built in another location.
£5 million near me gets a 9 bedroom house with 18 acres and 45 mins train London or more modern 7 bedrooms and 2.5 acres.
The plot probably started off life as a 3 bed dormer bungalow :-)
