Beautiful home Toby everything on one floor too very convenient and attention to details we love :) wonderful start to the new year :) does it have a communal garden or access to one? not a spotlight anywhere beautiful chandeliers and wall lights as well as covings.
It’s a wonderful apartment, the space is incredible - albeit not furnished to my tastes. But the price is extreme considering it’s not really Mayfair and actually above the Hard Rock Cafe on the dirty motorway end of Picadilly.
@@markclans3284 Yeah exactly. I mean the views over green park will be spectacular and the entrance address is on the side on Old Park Lane, but it’s still in a terrible location street-wise. Officially a Mayfair address but not really.
THe bones are fantastic, the building and the location are amazing. The light fixtures, the art and the furniture are a repulsive insult to an otherwise fantastic apartment.
lol I was thinking the same thing. what a tasteless design. if anything could cheapen this space it would be this design. I hate to criticize but I can’t believe this bland design. it looks like real estate staging company got the contract. maybe that’s what it is?
This is a stunning property Toby! Would love to see the estate link in the information below as well. This is an awesome first video on this channel. Congratulations!
Hey Toby whoever has been behind the mastermind of designing the colour pallet of this apartment knows a thing or two because most central London apartments is quite darker because of less open spaces so to compensate one has to come up with an internal paint and LED lighting like we see throughout this house not to mention even the furniture marble and bath are all bright coloured to give an impression of brighter appearance
Suppose I’m going to be unpopular for saying this, but sod the post code! For nearly 27 million quid, I’d what a bit more than an apartment ! More like a 10 bedroomed mansion in the country! Probably with a housekeeper., cook, gardener and indoor swimming pool Wouldn’t you?
Toby, that primary bedroom could totally double at one of the lesser luxury brands area in a second rate department store. Such a terrible use of space and the racks look very Nordstrom to me. 🤣🤣🤣
I was waiting for a Jean Eisner, Jean Riesener, Bureau du Roi but I got base furniture. The simplest bombay chest would've blown away the carpenters that worked on this furniture, no stucco ceilings, no art of sublime beauty on the walls, no frescos, very base wall coloration with base desaturation colors. It would be OK for half I feel. you can get several apt in NYC's 111 West 57th street for cheaper and 4500 sq. ft for 16-11.5 million pound. Similarly to that building, most of the value is the location and size of the apartment, unlike that 111 West 57th St, it's the bones of the beautiful building and scenic downtown that probably would tempt people to spend more.
I don’t get why bathrooms need to have windows, I mean you go there to do your buisness and hygiene routine and get out, not to flash everyone on the street.
Mayfair is not luxurious. I don’t live there but live just the other side of Green Park. Like most of London it’s a nightmare. Too dangerous and no respect for each other any more. Changed massively in the last six years. Spend most of my time in West Sussex now when I can.
1. That is not a large fridge, it’s a British fridge. 2. Where do the cooking smells/vapors/smoke go for £26m+? Meanwhile, it still has tiny closets and a free standing wardrobe! lol, and a radiator! Oh England, lol what the actual f is a see through wardrobe on each side of a bed in a £26m apartment? Who designed this trainwreck, Stevie Wonder? Omg
Calcutta marble, it’s not, it’s Calacutta. Ones the old name of a city in India and the other is a common marble. C’mon you know better. Though you are the room tour by brail , king of stating the ruddy obvious.
Wonderful space but horribly styled. Waay too modern. It needs large portraits of the great historic people of England/London and Chesterfield seats for starters.
@@refinedlivingshow Congrats to the seller! Pianos are big business in South Korea, and Steinway pianos set the standard. Being so expensive, used Korean pianos are sometimes sold at auction as Steinway pianos. South Korean pianos, however, are not very high quality.
You are the king of state the bloody obvious mate. There’s two windows here, no joke. How about talking about the amazing light the two windows gives. Oh there’s a table for 8, no shot Sherlock maybe state there’s room for a table of 12 etc., if you wanted as this room is so large. By the way, count the amount of times you say ‘volume’ , you’d be surprised.
Surely a nice apartment. The presenter does an excellent job. Wish we could have seen terraces, if any. Keep up the goodwork!!
Nah Mayfair is what Beverly Hills dreams of being.... But without the historic legacy.
Nothing in America is comparable
@@StjDUK I respectfully disagree :)
Calling Mayfair the answer to Beverly Hills is an insult to Mayfair
Haha, I'm sure Mayfair will forgive us!
It's a dream. Not sure what I'd ever do with all that space, but it's great to be able to see inside such a property.
Thanks for the showaround of this mansion apartment.
Definitely one of the best London homes I’ve seen!!!!

Absolutely amazing! Congratulations!

It's a beautiful apartment, great finishes. It really should have a dedicated office.
It could but why work from anywhere else other then the beautiful reception!

I'll consider it. I've been sleeping on my yacht when I go to London and it's becoming such a bother! 😂😂😂😂😂

@@refinedlivingshow A wonderful result for the seller. Turns out a bad street address and a horrible streetview can’t spoil a glorious property!
Wow exquisite

Buying an Aparment like this and filling it wih furniture that could well come from the IKEA Catalogue.

Is there a garage ( for multiple cars ) and is there a balcony or terrace?

It’s just above a very busy road so constant noise and pollution, no outside space. Beautiful proportions tho.

Yep I gasped alright. What’s with the glass lit wardrobes on either side?
Oh Gilena you do love a comment don't you!
Absolutely exquisite but quite a lot of the rooms feel small. 33 Portland Place is perfect but location not as good

Fantastic!
It was built on land where a minor royal had lived (briefly) does not mean the apartment was once home to a royals.
Toby, that primary bedroom could totally double at one of the lesser luxury brands area in a second rate department store. Such a terrible use of space and the racks look very Nordstrom to me. 🤣🤣🤣

Wow,
Who is the interior designer?
I should be able to afford this, but...
Hold up. Who in the world wants to sleep next to their shoes in a lit glass closet? I mean really. 😂😂😂

The voice is on the left instead of center, it’s very disturbing with headphones…
Interesting we are not witnessing the same!
Hideous art on every wall, but at least Toby ain’t bumping his head on any ceilings in this one. 😂
Haha oh Gilena you do have a few jokes, how tall are you?
