I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. For 5.5 mill I'd want a house with character inside and out in an exclusive area. This house is decorated and designed by the numbers('no sense of taste') and looks like it's 2 plots made into 1. See @ 0:15 looks like two semi-detached houses on the left.

My grandparents lived on a 100 acres with a house in the “Gone With the Wind” grand style.I would never pay this amount for a house with so little land & neighbours left & right.What people will pay today for just a house & no private land is unbelievable.

Price is too high for this house, the ceilings are too low and it looks like they’ve had a lot of extensions. There is isn’t a lot of character.

In and around London is overwhelmingly overpriced-- in the center of london, a 1 bed flat is ~800k
It’s beaconsfield, I’m not sure if you’ve ever been around that area. Probably 1 minute down the road you can be straight on the motorway to London and arrive maybe 20 minutes later. It’s a great area.
and it is on half an acre but is hemmed in with the houses either side. For the amount of money they are asking you'd expect more space, the whole thing isn't very private.
@@finlaystech I’m in Marlow currently, which is quite close to beaconsfield, and depending on the spec it’ll be give or take 1-1.75mil for a detached 5 bed. Some are around 2+ for a better spec and more garden area.

I loved it!!! 😍🥰🥰 This is how luxury is defined in most of Asia. Here in Britain, everything is so old and narrow and the houses small but of course full of history and character. If I win a lottery, I would buy a house like this in a heartbeat... but for 5 million it seems a bit pricey. For me 2 to 2.5 million represents best value in south of England. Up north or in Scotland, 1.5 million or thereabouts. If I am spending 5 million, I would definitely shop around. 😀
