Loved all of your videos. You refer to "Embird Express" - I don't see that listed at Embird nor any Free software(s). Only free 30 day trial options then the basic and separate modules have to be purchased. Not really a deal breaker but I want to make sure I get the correct components to operate BX files as you are doing throughout your 7 videos. :)

If you are using Embrilliance in Express mode for free, the font must include a BX file to use it.
If you purchase Embrilliance Essentials, then you can merge individual letter files in your preferred machine format to create text designs.
If you purchase Embrilliance AlphaTricks, then you can map individual letter files to the keyboard so you can type text and Embrilliance automagically merges for you, just like a font installed by a BX file.

Hi I tried to download the program , it get as far as run then I can not open Embrilliance. I have several of your fonts that i ready want to use. Help please :)

have dragged files after extracting them but not showing in embrilliance. any suggestions please? Thanks
Geraldine, did Embrilliance tell you that the the font had been installed?
-If not, try dragging the BX files to your desktop, then dragging them into Embrilliance. That should get them installed.
-If so, check a couple things. Go up to View -> Toolbars and Windows... and make sure everything is checked in that dialog box. Then after you click the "A" button, in the Properties Window on the lower right hand corner, make sure the "letter" tab is selected. That's where you can type and select your font from the pull down menu.
Hopefully that will get you up and running!

i downloaded embrilliance but don't know what to do for the bx file

But let me clarify a few things. First of all, did you download and install the full software package for Embrilliance, NOT the demo? You need the full "Embrilliance Platform" that states "The ONE download for: Express, Essentials, AlphaTricks, Enthusiast, Density Repair Kit, Stitch Artist." You can't save anything in the demo, so you don't want that.
Once that is downloaded and installed on your computer, launch the program. If you own Essentials or any other Embrilliance products, the program automatically starts. If you haven't purchased anything, Click "done" when it asks for serial numbers and it will run in Express mode for you for free.
Then you need to install the BX files. You cannot install BX files while they are sitting in a zip. They have to be extracted first. Even though in Windows Explorer you can double click a zip and see what's inside, everything is still compressed. It has to come out first before you can install it into Embrilliance.
There are two ways you can do it: 1. You can extract all the files from the zip (right click and select "extract all"). Then double click each BX file to install it. This is all done in Windows Explorer, not Embrilliance.
2. In Windows Explorer, double click the zip. Look inside the BX folder, then select all of the BX files and drag them out of the zip onto your desktop (that's another method for extracting files from the zip). Now that the BX files have been extracted, select all the BX files that are sitting on your desktop and drag them into Embrilliance. There's not special place to put them, just drop them into the open workspace. That will install them all at once.
Question, I followed the directions in the video but it will not let me drag the files into Embrilliance. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Those who have had a problem installing the BX files have been trying to drag them directly from the zip file without extracting files first.
Try dragging them to your desktop first, then dragging them into Embrilliance. Let me know how it goes!

Embrilliance does not run on an iPad. You will need a computer (Mac or Windows).
embrilliance wont let me save?
Missy, did you download the demo or the full software package? You cannot save in the demo version.
If you have downloaded the full software package and you are running it for free in Express mode, you can save text designs made from installed BX files provided by a digitizer. But if you have merged it with any other design files, it won't allow you to save that -- that is a paid feature requiring Essentials.
