I have watched all 7 of your videos several times. FINALLY I found a GREAT tutorial!!! Your explanations are easy to understand, you speak clearly, and I like that you broke it up into chunks. Now after I transfer my files to a flash drive, I need to practice stitching them. This is SOOOOOO much easier than choosing one letter at a time on my machine--and the characters were not even in alphabetical order. Thanks so much for creating these videos.
Becky , I’m following you as you create your name into the embroidery label in Embrillance. When I click on the block arrow down tab to find the correct size that will fit it does not have the sizes just different styles, what am I doing wrong? I’m about ready to pull my hair out
Are you using an I2S font (installed by BX file)? Our fonts come in multiple sizes, so that's why there are size options in our video. If you are not using one of our fonts, I can't say for sure why you are experiencing that. If you own Essentials, there are several native fonts that only appear once in the font list - different style of embroidery font technically and can be resized.
In the properties box you can adjust the "space" slider to bring letters closer together so they overlap slightly. Generally that does a decent job to start with and then you may have to do some manual adjustments. Depending on the letter combination it may look like it flows one into another, or there may be an obvious overlap. It really depends on the letter combos and how the font looks/was digitized. You can see it in action in the following three videos: ruclips.net/video/6dBROVnxOjo/видео.html ruclips.net/video/rY4ZVQNVXPg/видео.html ruclips.net/video/HC1xlK63cb4/видео.html
+G wenna Doty To move an individual letter, click and drag the middle green square. The top green pennant, the bottom green pennant, the blue upper dot and the blue lower dot on each individual letter has a different unique function. We walk through what each one does in video 3.
All of our designs and fonts are available in VP3 format. This video however shows how to use our BX files in Embrilliance software to create a text design. Then you save it in your preferred machine format (VP3 is among the several options available).
We have a free BX file for our Marker font available for download at the end of this blog post: www.theitch2stitch.com/How-2-Use-the-BX-format-with-Embrilliance_b_6.html

Is there a way when using script fonts and you move them close together…to make it look continuous rather than one on top of the other?
