I had been using a demo version of Embird on a PC. I'm a Mac gal so I was excited to learn about Embrilliance Essentials. I bought it yesterday. I also bought a few .bx fonts. I purchased Embrilliance Essentials not knowing JuJu offered it for FREE! I have purchased fonts from JuJu. I bought the font AVA and there are 6 sixes in BX. I unzipped and dragged the six selected files over but it only brought in the first one. It didn't even ask if I wanted any others. When I try to drag in the others even individually, all I get on the Embrilliance Essentials screen is a small black circle with a black line through it. Do you have any suggestions please? The one that did go in is there and is working just fine. Thank you.
Thank you for this video tutorial! I have all of my designs saved on my c drive in folders by digitizer. When I go to a specific folder to bring in a font I have tried to just drag the whole file and that doesn't work. When I double click on the file nothing is showing up at all inside that file when I am in the Embrilliance trial version but it does show what is in it if I am not in Embrilliance. This happens whether it is fonts or a design. Do I need to unzip the file first? I notice that you have your files on your desktop. Does that make a difference? Help! Thanks!

Ahh. If you want to convert design files (say PES or VP3), click on the Font Mapper tool which looks like a needle with "ABC" stacked next to it. Should be just to the right of the Preferences icon on the tool bar. Then you'll import the font's letter files, assign keyboard strokes, and line them up. Lining them up is trickiest and don't do it until you've imported all the characters or you'll have to do it again. If you don't have the Font Mapper icon, contact Embrilliance through the Contact Us on their website.
This video just shows how to install a pre-made BX font, not how to import letter designs to build a font. You need to have Font Mapper to import design files to make a font. I don't have a video on that but I think Embrilliance does.

Font Mapper is specifically designed to import stitch files in and allow you to map them to their corresponding keyboard equivalents. So any stitch file that Embrilliance can read can be imported and mapped. I think Font Mapper comes with the AlphaTricks module.
I downloaded the free version of Embrilliance to use my purchased fonts that are available in BX format. The program only shows an option to open "Working Files (BE). Did I miss something?

As far as I know, there aren't any BX files on the Embrilliance website. If you have Essentials, you don't need Express, which I think is the demo version of Essentials. Many embroidery designers who make fonts/letters/alphabets are now including BX formats. I've added a link to my fonts in the description.

Lindee, I have already got PE Design software on my laptop. When I have tried to download a BX font file from the internet it automatically loads on to the PE Design software and I am therefore unable to drag and drop the file in to the Embrilliance software. Do you have a way around this please. I have written to Embrilliance but they have not helped to resolve the problem. Thanks Anjee
Quit PE Design, then open Embrilliance. Find the BX file and drag and drop it onto the program. Most BX downloads are zipped, so you'll need to unzip first.

How do you save the bx file into the program so next time you open they will be there??

Go to about 4:40 in the video. It's so fast it's easy to miss.
