    Thank you so much for this series. I was so intimidated by the software since I bought it 2yrs ago and haven’t touched it at all. Did watch a couple of videos then but none were as methodical, informative and detailed as yours. They totally turned me off. Today I decided to have another go at it and came across your videos. You’re an awesome, amazing and patient instructor. Learned so much about the software this evening that makes a lot of sense now. Thanks again for taking the time.

    So glad I stumbled across this video. I do have a question about saving the working &/or stitch file. I'll try to word it to make sense. Once I have the file like I want including applique designations, I save the working & stitch file. Then I open the working file and go thru the reduction of stops and save it only as a stitch file. Send stitch file to usb to transfer to machine. Correct?

    • @TheItch2Stitch1

    Thank you so much for this awesome video. I'm new to embroidery 🧵 how do I know which is the placement stitch from the tack down stitch from the side panel? Which Embrilliance do you recommend for merging designs as you did here that would get rid of everything we don't want on a design

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  4 года назад +1

      The placement stitch will come first, then the tackdown stitch will come second. For our designs, placement steps are usually pink, and tackdown are usually green, and since our tackdowns run twice, their stitch count is higher than the placement step.
      This video series was done with Embrilliance Essentials.

    You stated in either this video or another what the general rule for resizing, so much enlarge and so much decrease. I can't seem to find that information now. Can you tell me what those percents are? Thank you! I love your videos!

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  5 лет назад

      I prefer to stay within a plus or minus 20% range of change, but that's not a hard and fast rule. (The discussion starts at the 15:36 mark of this video)

  • @loriearii474

    Brilliant videos! I might of missed this, but if I wanted to put four of the same design in one hoop how do you program it to do each color at once on all four designs? Or what video was it in if you explained it already? I kind of binged these and it might of flew pass me. lol

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  3 года назад

      In that case you would use the "Color Sort" feature that is under the "Utility" menu.

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  3 года назад

      This video is about using a multicolored font, so while it doesn't discuss merging multiple copies of the same design, it does talk about using the color sort feature. ruclips.net/video/6usAGz5AmpQ/видео.html

    I understand using position placement and material placement for the hat, but what did you put placement and material positions before the hat?

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  3 года назад +1

      I designated the placement/tack down stitches of the lion head and mane fabrics as applique position/material as well so that the the stitches for those fabric lines would not be removed. Otherwise they might disappear in part or in whole when you remove overlapped stitches.

    Ma’am I have a few questions, can essentials code be resold? Or it is created for everyone who purchase separately(
    Also, can you give separate the one from the lion?

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  4 года назад +1

      Each person who purchases Embrilliance gets a unique serial number, and my understanding is they cannot be shared or resold. You will need to direct all software licensing questions to Embrilliance directly.

  • @CraftsbyLorie

    I have question, but not sure how to ask. With Essentials can I curve the text (word) so that the middle letters are smaller and the outside letters are larger? I think of it like an invisible circle is sitting on top of the word and underneath the word and the word is wrapping both.

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, on a lettering object if you select the middle option (single line of text) you can choose one of the "Quick Style" options, or down at the very bottom for "Top" select "Curve" and move the slider to the left so the curve is concave.

    If I wanted to move those jump stitches and redraw the lines to fit the shape vs having the jump stitches.........in which embrilliance add on would I be able to accomplish this task?

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  6 лет назад

      You need StitchArtist to be able to create stitches. I personally do not own SA to know if you are able to add stitches in the middle of an existing merged design that wasn't created from scratch.

  • @wetappocreek
    @wetappocreek 6 лет назад

    In playing around w/ Embrilliance........I opened up an existing design I had merged together in another program.........should I be able to delete the overlaps in this design........or does that feature only work when you have actually merged the designs into Embrilliance? I followed the steps and made all parts of the design into applique position and applique material but it didn't remove the overlaps.......thanks

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  6 лет назад

      The Remove Hidden Stitches feature works with two or more overlapped objects. If your merged design is joined all in one object, then it probably won't function properly. You would need to break your merged design into separate objects first. This could be accomplished by copy/pasting sections of the design to create new objects, then deleting from the original object.
