I recently chose Embrilliance Essentials as my embroidery software and when I have watched embroidery tutorials I have been confused by the different icons that were displayed on the Embrilliance software screen shots. I had to go from channel to channel watching their basic Embrilliance Essentials tutorials and no one explained why their software showed more icons than my Essentials software until your tutorial. Thank you so much, I truly appreciate your complete explanation. I would give you 10 thumbs up for that alone.

Hands down; this series is the best Embrilliance Essentials tutorial out there, and is highly recommended for new users as well as those with Essentials experience.
I only wish The Itch To Stitch staff could be persuaded to develop a similar tutorial series for the Stitch Artist module as well.

Really helpful video. I’m interesting in Embrilliance platform, because the support natively the Mac platform.
I’m new to embroidery specially to design aspects (software) not new to machine operations. I would like to have the ability to modify existing (from other digitizer) or purchase designs, Plus I would like to create my own designs.
In your experience, with modules I should buy.
I’ll appreciate any help.

To modify purchased designs, I would recommend starting with Essentials, but you may also want to invest in Enthusiast. Everything I show in this video series (parts 1-4) was done in Essentials only, so you will see there is a lot of capability just with the essential editing tools. Enthusiast gives even more options.
In order to create your own designs you will need StitchArtist. I personally have not used that module to speak from experience if starting with level 1 is sufficient or if you should go ahead and get level 3.
The nice thing about it being sold in modules is you can buy them one at a time as your abilities and interests and needs grow :)

I just purchased Essentials and cannot open .jef files! Is there a reason why?
Please contact Embrilliance directly for assistance. You should be able to open JEF files in Essentials.
Does this program support PES files for brother??
Yes, Embrilliance Essentials can open, edit and save PES files.
IS THIS LIKE SEW WHAT PRO.?
Embrilliance Essentials is an embroidery editing program, as is Sew What Pro. I have never used SWP to be able to compare the two however.
