    Oh Alma I already watched the show but this scene was sad honestly. Grace was always a friend to Alma and for alma to just use her as bait is rude

    Why Women kill?
    Beth Ann: My husband treated me terribly and cheated on me.
    Simone: I wanted to put my husband/best friend out of his misery.
    Alma: I craved to be noticed by all.

      Beth Ann was More so “my husband is the reason my child died but still blamed me”. She was planning on divorcing him for the cheating but when she found that out she decided to kill him

    Joan wanted nothing to do with Rita after she got out of prison. Refuse to help her. It's almost like karma now for Joan

      Yet she didn't deserve to be threatened/outed like that. Also, Joan was not the only one who suffered, Grace also did and Grace was kind to Alma (and later to Rita).

      In the 40s being outed could result in being murdered. How is that karma for not wanting to associate with someone she believed got away with murder?

      She _became_ the bully. Her story is a cautionary tale. Although it's natural to empathize with her at the onset of the series, her storyline is that her social ascension is mirrored by her moral degradation. At some point, you're supposed to draw the line and realize that she has gone too far.

    • @yevgeniyaleshchenko849
      @yevgeniyaleshchenko849 5 дней назад +1

      Are you for real? She became the bully (like someone below already said) AND a sociopathic murderer in the process. That's not how you stand up to bullies. She became worse than all of them put together. She also betrayed Grace in the process, the only woman that was kind to her since the start.

    To be honest...and please feel free to comment on my comment here but, I wonder if Joan's husband would divorce her? Like would he really divorce her if she was sleeping with another woman?
    Where I am going with this is and it's unfortunate but, I feel the husband might just embrace that idea and want to be included in the affair 😂

      That's the backward thinking of those who sexualize lesbianism for men's sake "oh he would LOVE to have two women" who tf said they want him or that he want them. Most men have a brain and see cheating as cheating not a "oh it's with a girl you're alright"

    • @rinaantler4790
      @rinaantler4790 Месяц назад +26

      This really depends on what kind of husband Joan has, and if he was the type of person that fetishises lesbian women he might be interested into joining them, but that doesn't mean that Grace and Joan would want that, in fact, Joan might prefer to divorce him rather than being used like this.

      It was 1949 and contrary to popular belief, no most men are not degenerates like that. They’d still be pretty upset about the cheating and the humiliation.
