This Greek Fava (Yellow Split Pea Dip) recipe tastes refreshingly light and lemony and it's perfect for serving with fish, meat, like an appetizer or your favorite dippers!
What's Greek Fava? In Greece when we say Fava we refer to the yellow split peas that are mostly served as a dip that looks like a Greek hummus.
INGREDIENTS:
- 500 g fava (yellow Split Pea)
- 500 g of water

- 60 ml olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2-3 carrots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- lemon juice
- 1200 ml of water
- salt and pepper
________________
For serving
- onion
- capers
Or caramelized onion
