Soon as I started using it THAT week I saw a reduction in acne & it evened out my skin tone. Didn’t make it lighter or darker just evened it out. I used it every morning & every night & I applied A LOT. The bottle lasted me 4 months. Then, because I moved, I couldn’t find a store that had it available & I started breaking out once again. I flew back to visit family & that’s where I bought another bottle & AGAIN worked instantly, haven’t had even a pimple since. I wish I had this in high school where I had severe acne which caused the scars. As far as scar removal it DOES work. I train ground fighting & one day I grappled & got a bloody face & turf burn. It was pretty bad it turned black & crummy ON my face. Thank God I had Bio Oil cuz not only did it heal the tissue, it evened out the area making it look like it never happened to me. It might not reverse OLD scars from yrs ago but definitely recent ones, plus prevents acne. Im not a clean eater I do eat fatty foods that’ll cause breakouts but since applying every day I have yet to see even a little pimple. GO BUY TRY IT OUT

Ananna Khandaker I just use it on my spots. I’m sure you could put it on your whole face but I don’t. Bio Oil should definitely work for your chicken spots. Try putting it directly on your spots twice a day.

I got a burn on my hand two weeks ago .I've been putting bio oil and it seems to be healing faster than it was before I put it on . Maybe I'm wrong but It feels to be helping

I do not have Bio-Oil but a friend told me that she checked and found out that the first ingredients was mineral oil as a topical and then the second ingredient which was alarming was some sort of accelerator that helps it penetrate your skin when mineral oil is not supposed to be penetrating. I believe in the long run down the road they're going to find some adverse effects to this supposed to miracle
Just my 2 cents... I had complete knee replacement surgery on Feb 11, 2021. I started using the bio oil after about a week.(enough time to the incision to seal) I must say that it has caught the attention of my pt people and my doctor has remarked at how well the area is healing. I'm a mechanic by trade so I'm not that concerned about the appearance, but the speed of the healing is quite impressive.
I'm using bio oil for more than a month and still going. It's for my acne scars. I apply it for like twice a day (in the morning and night before i go to sleep) and it's routine daily. I would say bio oil is doing pretty well to reduce or prevent my acne and uneven skin. Well, the scars don't disappear all the sudden, some of the acne scars still there, it does take time and but those scars kind of fade away which is good. So, it works for my skin and is doing pretty well so far. If it doesn't work on you, maybe you have a different type of skin or you need a proper treatment more that just a skin care products.

I am coming here without any preconceived biases. I’ve noticed immediate improvements in my scars since using this oil and wanted to see what the other reviews were. Nothing has cleared my skin as quickly as this product. For me it’s a winner.

Bio oil really helped my skin, cleared up my face from acne and some scars I had in my face, and my dark under eyes is all good now! It also took away alot of streach marks! Some are all gone too! But with that said, it has to be «fresh» scars and streach marks! And you have to use it 2 times per day, with damp but dry skin. I've been using this for years, it is a bit pricy for a small bottle like almost 10 bucks but it does last a couple months. I recommend giving your skin a break because your skin can become use to the oil and it will do nothing but moisturize because it is an oil. I recommend to switch of from this to face scrubs to purify and get rid of the top layer and dead skin and "start over" so that it can be penetrated. I scar horribly when I break out and this always takes the scars away in like a week. Then again. Everyone's skin is different

It does made the scar I got from a hockey game go away. It's amazing tho but I think consistency is important. Like hydrating the skin or drinking water.

I used this product since 2001 until today ,my bad scar is still the same ,l keep using just to smooth my skin .
It helped me a lot! Has also helped a bit on my acne. I can highly recommend it. But it's probably different from person to person.

it only works on new scars, if you try and use it on old scars it can't do anything for you.

Very good product and made all my scars go away. It helped alot.

I think you should consider applying it at bedtime before it's oil which doesn't go with sun and can cause acne

I added weight recently and saw new ones popping up so had to tackle them as early as possible and it fading with massive improvement ..keep using it or add to your cream. .but only at where it is

It worked for me. I had an car accident and got glass in my arms and forehead. I began using bio oil after the wound healed a bit and now the scar on my forehad has faded so much. It has been months but now I barely see it. However I didn't use it on my arms and while it was the same kind of wound on my arm that one healed really ugly.
