Ken Dorsey's meltdown at 0:53 is the gift that keeps on giving, soooo many videos have the clip. I need it as a Gif to post on message boards to make fun of people. I agree 150% we need more big men TDs. The 85 Bears let the Fridge score so many TDs he leached Walter Payton's SB TD.
Glad you included Keith Traylor's clip. That is still my all time favorite Big Guy play because he desperately wanted to pitch to a faster thin guy and his teammates wouldn't let him.
I wanna see jason kelce just blast his way into the endzone. considering hes a hof center I think they wanna keep him for blocking but it would be magical
It's me, I'm that one guy in the comments from last video, 0:53. Honestly, I just thought it was a lovely sight to see the big man come up in some form in Week 18, even if I know it isn't the same. Great video both times.
Future Hall of fame LT Joe Staley was a TE when he started college. In Madden 2008 (2007 season) he was a first round draft pick for the 49ers. The 49ers had an aging but still stud LT in Jonas Jennings (94ovr) as the starter. I would regularly place Staley as the #2 TE. Do you know how great it felt to watch Jim Harbaugh use that exact idea in 2011?
Should have included Eric Fisher's TD from a couple of years ago. At that point he was the first 1st overall pick to catch a TD pass since Keyshawn Johnson.
Its not used often because most wr and rbs have bonuses for meeting statistical goals in things like tds. If you do this regularly players will get mad even if it is effective.
I don’t think that’s true. It’s not used as often because if you use it all the time then teams begin to expect it. You save plays like this for certain moments.
It’s always bothered me. Probably more than it should. I remember being pissed when they brought Perry in for the play. I’m sure, if given the chance, Sweetness was getting in that end zone.
The more years I watch and learn about football the more I believe that teams should build from the lines out. Nice to throw a TD bone to your big dawgs in the trenches now and then.
Jumbo Elliott’s TD in the Monday night miracle game my personal favorite big man TD. If only Dan Connolly made it on that miraculous kick return. A mere 3 yards away from glory.
I swear if my Eagles don’t use Jordan Mailata in some goofy goal line package at least once I’m gonna be so disappointed. He basically played running back in rugby so he’d be perfect for it.
The league needs to encourage big man touchdowns by changing the playoffs so that the team in each conference that has the most touchdowns scored by guys over 300 pounds gets an extra bye
It doesn't really have the same feel now a days, since there aren't really many 'fat' NFL players anymore...the big guys are now in prime shape...they are just big AF. Back in the day...some of those dudes were just obese.
I can't believe you didn't bother mentioning Creg "Ironhead" Haywood. Idc if he was a fullback. He was a 300lb Fullback. Definitely should qualify as a big man regardless of his work position. You could've at least mentioned him. 🤦🏾♂️

I saw the original sad the nfl took it off. Btw can you talk about my broncos in your next video?
You get another like. Automatically. Thank you for the great content. Roger needs to back off. 👍
What I would like to know is what the clip was of

When Penei Sewell caught that pass, it sealed the Chase vs Sewell debate.
lol
Thank God Penis Swollen got that pass 🙏😫
The best ot and wr in the draft

Don't forget the greatest big man play of all time: Dan Connoly's kickoff return almost-TD
5 yards from immortality it sucks he didnt make it
The real question is why don't more video games let us do this
Because madden is actual dog poop I wouldn't touch with a 10ft stick
Because madden sucks and is a cashcow
Because Madden is the only option and EA is a giant sack of manure.
Because they’re evil
You can in Madden. But only if you’re TE group is pretty thin or if you use special teams trick plays.

Dontari Poe's touchdown pass remains the most electric sports moment I've seen in person. Made for the merriest Christmas that year.
I wanna see jason kelce just blast his way into the endzone. considering hes a hof center I think they wanna keep him for blocking but it would be magical
He used to play RB until his second or third year at Cincinnati so it's not uncanny

“Who became a household name in addition to being a household appliance” cracked me up man, great video as always

I support this message

Andy tried to scheme it in SB57 but it was covered damnit
I never thought I’d ever see a reference to The Replacements. I was sure I was the only person to ever see that movie

@@imtheprofessor thats why i said even if it did work.
Classic mismanagement. When measuring key performance indicators goes wrong.
We missed you Set The Edge, please continue the daily uploads 😊
I thought that seven second clip was stupid anyway. The video is better now
To this day, it still pisses me off knowing the Fridge has a super bowl touchdown and Walter Payton doesn't...
It’s always bothered me. Probably more than it should. I remember being pissed when they brought Perry in for the play. I’m sure, if given the chance, Sweetness was getting in that end zone.
Once again. Never forget Robert Hunt and his incredible big man moment. Man was as graceful as a dolphin that night.
This really was a fun vid. Having STE back makes one want to break out into the BJ Raji dance.
Eric fishers stone cold impression and Quenton Nelson's keg stand will always be my favorite big man celebrations
I think we should make big man touchdowns count double, they already do in our hearts.
Dan Connolly's 71-yard kick return was one of the most exciting plays I've ever seen.
Love your content brotha, keep ‘em coming and happy friday
That homage at the end was awesome
The ending brought back memories of those old NFL films with classical music
Anyone notice he kinda sounds like Brett?? The way he talks, the tone, the facts and correctness, the depth. Dudes got a big future😈
Brett Kollman for anyone who doesn’t know
I was literally waiting with bated breath to see if you included that clip from _The Replacements_- and you did not disappoint. Well done, Sir... 👏👏👏
Went to rewatch the original last week and wondered where it went, glad this fantastic video isn’t lost
going back and watching these videos makes me realize that you have great music taste. love the dangerdoom music in the background
Robert Hunt will forever be remembered for the greatest TD that never happened ❤
I need to see Shanahan scheme up a big-man td for Trent Williams
Dontari Poe's Hungry Pigs were the best, but Raji's dance is my favorite
Not even kidding when I say it has to add a dramatic amount of strategic value to an offense in jumbo sets
Can we get a Part 2 of this by showing Big Defensive Men getting TDs like one of the most famous ones by JJ Watt.
The Dontari Poe jump pass was legit.
Big man td video im guessing?
How tf did he guess that
@SetTheEdge You might want to do a video about the DAZN gamepass for the "rest of the world" deal. Because the fan sure got shafted!
BJ Raji was one of the best TD scorers ever as a D Lineman
Gotta like and comment because I love my big men, and can't let the nfl keep you down.
Man, this is the best video of all time. I'm stoked for the season now.
This video was pure joy. Gotta love a thicc 6. Absolutely life affirming. Thank you
The more years I watch and learn about football the more I believe that teams should build from the lines out. Nice to throw a TD bone to your big dawgs in the trenches now and then.
Can’t forget Andrew Thomas’ TD in 2021. He had more touchdowns than any WR on the Giants roster 😭
Luv the Madlib background bests you rock dude
I be making a 3rd string T a TE in madden to score a big man td
My boy is back to the grind, keep it up man
Yes to all of this! I need to see more of the worm celebrations 😁🪱
3:10 i forgot about this play thanks for ruining my whole week
THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR
That dude jumping out of the pool is INSANE
Fantastic topic, great video...
This guy makes some of the best football videos on the platform. Should have ten trillion subscribers
Coach couldn't have put it any better, "I love seeing a fat guy score"
Jumbo Elliott’s TD in the Monday night miracle game my personal favorite big man TD. If only Dan Connolly made it on that miraculous kick return. A mere 3 yards away from glory.
I love this channel
Love the use of Crosshairs 👌
Love this channel, should blow up more
Lane Johnson came to the University of Oklahoma as a qb
Excellent video and topic!!
They have to announce the eligibility because the Ravens were mad the Pats outsmarted them in a playoff game
I swear if my Eagles don’t use Jordan Mailata in some goofy goal line package at least once I’m gonna be so disappointed. He basically played running back in rugby so he’d be perfect for it.
The fact that jordan mailata, A FORMER RUGBY PLAYER, has not gotten a goal line TD is a god damn crime
Hey, this was uploaded on my birthday.
Awesome
NFL tackles in 2023 are more athletic than most RBs in the 70's.
We all love to see a big guy score.
Big boi tds are always great😂
10:37 Best TD celebration ever!!!
That BJ Raji celly gets me every time 😭
subbed because of the dark souls overlay lol
Bravo! That was art.
If I was a wide receiver and I changed my number to 69, could I make it so the announcer has to say before every snap #69 is an eligible receiver?
Big man TDs! I thought l, for sure, it was gonna end on BJ Raji
I think the happiest play in football was the right guard return
4:50 bro you so wrong for including this of Zeke he got nothing to do with thisss 😭😭😭😂
I think the best big man in NFL history is either Refrigerator Perry or Mike Vrabel. It's a pretty difficult decision though.
Is that DangerDOOM I hear???
Nfl is back!! ✌️🇺🇲
🇺🇸🏈
The league needs to encourage big man touchdowns by changing the playoffs so that the team in each conference that has the most touchdowns scored by guys over 300 pounds gets an extra bye
JJ Watt is definitely the goat of big men tds he had six of them in his career
With the amount he's getting paid we'd better get a few more Big Man Touchdowns from Andrew Thomas.
This video made me so happy
I'll be referring to big man tuddies as a Thick Six for the rest of life
If the eagles ran FB dive with LT Jordan Mailata from the 5 they would score every time
As a big man, yes.
Is this Brett Kollmann sounds like him
7:25 holy cow. Is that guy mentally stable? That'd be horrifying to see on the line
For the algorithm
I feel like the Chargers will get a big man in someday. Hopefully it works at the time.
Penei Sewell should get at least one this year
i may be wrong on the year, but didnt penei sewell get a play this year? Edit: wait nvm ig it wasnt a TD so thats why.
The goat
BRO 2 UPLOADS IN A WEEK. LFG!!
Dope, im first!! 💯
This has me thinking that Aaron Donald would be a beast goal line threat
Probably he’s fairly short low center of gravity he’s wide he’s freakishly strong and has pretty deceptive speed and eyes
@@i_fuze_hostages6 probably the best burst off the line, so fast he came in at DT now he’s just DL period.
@@FupaDoncic no he came in as a right end but switched to dt
Says he was combined as a DT, he switch to 3-4 RightEnd (which is still kind of DT) when Wade Phillips came, the. After that he was positionless.
this has to be brett kollman
Brett's content is dope but we are separate human beings
Your voices are so similar I hope I’m not the only one who hears it
