I was called to check out a tenants washer that would cycle just fine until it came to spin. Would never have considered that the fault may be with a short in the water intake solenoid. Now I have a fix to try.
I don't have a multimeter at the moment and I wanted to test my solenoid. You gave such a good advice is to bypass the solenoid and start spinning mode. If the drum start turning it means defective solenoid. Thank you so much.

Check the piece of magnet fix on the lid wich use to send the door closed signal. When it loos this error could occur. It is a common problem for this machine.

Hi Brian mine is doing just that. Flashing DE which means distribute evenly. Did this with no success even when machine is empty. Did you end up fixing the issue. Thank you in advance

Hi Ravi! when the machine is in wash, the bottom makes a lot of noise like bearing sounds and the wash sometimes doesnt move. But during spinning it spins ok. Any idea why? thanks
First check the belt tention which spin the drum by a motor. And check washing parts inside the drum which is use for wash cloths by rotating. Sometimes they might be loos.
Hi Ravi,my LG top load does not take in water during rinse cycle and there isvoice coming,spin cycle works fine,.water intake is fine during soak or wash.what could be issue.
If other functions work properly, problem might be in water level indicater switch. Just reset it by removing it's small hose from the tub end and blow it by mouth, if you hear clicking sound that mean switch is ok and reconnect it to the tub. Next look for the drain hose and the filter is it blocked, if so clean it, these two options also can cause to stop some option in a properly working washing machine.

This is a simple case you can fix it by yourself. If you have the piece of magnate replace it in the socket on the door where it was and tape it on to avoid loos it again. Otherwise you have to find same size of a piece of magnate to hold on the door. Otherwise if you have a removed speaker which has magnate behind it or bit bigger other piece of magnate you can use to put on the door affter close it. Just put it on the edge of the door where original magnate was placed and move slowly left or right until dE error gone., but don't move too far from the middle of the door. when dE error disappeared, that is the point where you must put the magnate evertime you use the washing machine. But best way is replace the piece of magnate in the original place where it was built. Best luck
Hello I have I problem with my LG FUZZY LOGIC. THE PROBLEM OF MY WASHING MACHINE IS THAT WHEN EVERY TIME I WASH THE DRAIN MOTOR IS PULLING THE DRAIN PLUG AND IT WILL NOT MAINTAIN THE WATER REQUIRED to wash spin.. but when I disconnect the hook on the drain plug. It will wash and I put i back again so that it pulls the drain motor to drain so it will continue to spin.... What is the required step to fix this Or should I replace the mother board of the lg fuzzy logic.?. Can you help me to decide what to do.
Mainly this error could occur due to Bad water level sensor. Better you replace it first as it is not so expensive. But this error could occur due to bad drain valve motor or bad mother board too. But mostly my experience with this machine with the bad water level sensor.
all the modern washing machines are good with modern technology. personally I love LG brand with Korean Technology. however I can't condemn other brands also as they are good too. I would like to mention here as we are Asians, Korean brands are good and durable for our budget

Check both water intake valve and water level sensor, they could make this kind of faults. Also drain valve or pcb, stuck drain hose could be. Check one by one.
Ravi Fix may be I just opened n saw the clutch which unclocks the gears of bucket is not unlocking, so what u think it’s still gear box or drain motor issue
If it is the problem with water intake valve motor, it will cost 4$ ABOUT, if the problem with water level sensor, it will cost 6$ about. but it depend on the which part is malfunctioning.

Just try with water level indicate switch, First remove the small hose wich connect to the tub from water level indicate switch. Next blow it up by mouth and reconnect it. Then look for the spin function does it works.

Yes, but sensor might be faulty with short circuit, then it affect for the other functions like wash and rinse. But it fill right water level eventhough . If you have a multimeter you can check it.
Rotation speed depend on the washing option you select. Fuzzy mode or gentle mode like that. Check it with different washing mode and different watter level without clothe to get an idea. If it is too slow just check the motor belt tention underneath.

Make sure that Wash, Rinse and spin function are activated with your washing cycle. If all are activated must be a problem. Otherwise end of the cycle cloths shoud be air dried. Try just activating only the spin option and get it dry. Then you could understand spin option is working properly or not
Ravi Fix all functions are activated during cycle. Tried just the spin cycle as well and still clothes are too wet. Not spin dried enough. Could it be motor problem? What would you recommend?
Can you understand that it has too slow spinning than it was before., might be a problem in the motor. However check the motor belt tention also by removing the back cover and squish the belt together

Is a LG T. 655a top loader.the problem appears to be a buildup of rubbish in the three vertical plastic channels leading to the removable filth filters. Hi, pls I have a fuzzy logic 9.0kg Whenever I switch it on, it spins for like a minute then stop. It determine the quantity of clothes put inside, then collects water but as the water is entering to d machine it drains out as well ... It doesn't spin again, how could I solve it.. Mainly we can suspect the water level sensor switch with your given details. First remove the back cover and disconect the hose from basin side which is conected between water level sensor and the basin. Then blow it by mouth and connect again. Try this way. But don't forget to do this method affter disconect the power and empty basin. With this method we expect to release if any unwanted air pressure has been built on the sensor or check the sensor work properly. If sensor machanically work properly you should hear a clicking sound from the sensor. If not work with this method, you have to replace the water level sensor, because there is no 100% correct way to diagnose this sensor. Because sometimes even faulty sensor shows correct multimeter reading. 2. Sometimes sort circuit of water intake valve motor can affect for this. But you can easierly diagnose this. Just let the machine to fill water, then power off the machine and remove cable connection of the valve motor and bypass it. And start the machine from where it stoped. Better you do this step first and check the water level sensor second.

Thank you. Check bothe water intake valve solenoid and the water level sensor one by one. This knid of errors could occur due to both components.
I have a newer model 13kg with 2 solinoids. 1 for cold and one for hot. Should i diconect both solenoids when doing the test?

Drain pipe or draining filter might be blocked. Check it and clean it if so.

Hey bro I got the same type of washing machine,,my spinner is not washing the clothes nicely and clothes are still wet after the cycle,,what do u think the problem is?any solutions??
Make sure that Wash, Rinse and spin function are activated with your washing cycle. If all are activated must be a problem. Otherwise end of the cycle cloths shoud be air dried. Try just activating only the spin option and get it dry. Then you could understand spin option is working properly or not
Ravi Fix all functions are activated during cycle. Tried just the spin cycle as well and still clothes are too wet. Not spin dried enough. Could it be motor problem? What would you recommend?
Can you understand that it has too slow spinning than it was before., might be a problem in the motor. However check the motor belt tention also by removing the back cover and squish the belt together
Ravi Fix hi Ravi have just been watching you fixing another washing machine you probably be able to help us with hours which is a different MKe, ours. Is a LG T. 655a top loader.the problem appears to be a buildup of rubbish in the three vertical plastic channels leading to the removable filth filters. Problem starts with how to remove all of the plastic covers over the drum to access the three vertical channels. Thanks Bob and Marina.

Hi, pls I have a fuzzy logic 9.0kg
Whenever I switch it on, it spins for like a minute then stop. It determine the quantity of clothes put inside, then collects water but as the water is entering to d machine it drains out as well ... It doesn't spin again, how could I solve it.. I can't wash or rinse with it only spin to dry it does ... What could be the solution
Mainly we can suspect the water level sensor switch with your given details. First remove the back cover and disconect the hose from basin side which is conected between water level sensor and the basin. Then blow it by mouth and connect again. Try this way. But don't forget to do this method affter disconect the power and empty basin. With this method we expect to release if any unwanted air pressure has been built on the sensor or check the sensor work properly. If sensor machanically work properly you should hear a clicking sound from the sensor.
If not work with this method, you have to replace the water level sensor, because there is no 100% correct way to diagnose this sensor. Because sometimes even faulty sensor shows correct multimeter reading.
2. Sometimes sort circuit of water intake valve motor can affect for this. But you can easierly diagnose this. Just let the machine to fill water, then power off the machine and remove cable connection of the valve motor and bypass it. And start the machine from where it stoped. Better you do this step first and check the water level sensor second.
