Ive been doing mini braids since i was 16 (2006) and no lie this style is tried and true and grows out my hair the fastest every time, the more you leave it be and just add a lil oil and leave in conditioner either daily or weekly

Interlock the roots like crochet in 3 or 2 directions at the root w a crochet hook, they aren't permanent, it won't lock ur hair and if it doesn't is easily comable
