Very cool. BTW, an easy way to get a bunch of different random values is to use Expression Control on an adjacent midi channel, set every output to Random and then assign them to multiple parameters. The modulation destination assignments don't even have to be on the same channel so you could set up a midi channel alongside this clap audio channel and generate new random values every 1/8th note (for example) by sequencing the midi channel separately.
@@Eprombeats hey!! First of all, I’m a fan of yours so super meaningful to get a comment !! Thank you!! Also I love expression control but didn’t realize how you could use it on an audio track!! Brilliant idea - thank you!
Great tutorial! I think most of that kind of sound design is based on two main principles: feedback loops and randomization. But constructing such processing chains, which can give musically pleasing results and not spiral out of control takes a lot of effort. It is cool to see that more people started sharing their experience in that field
Get the fuck out of here! that's where I saw him when skinny puppy got back together for the greater wrong of the right tour. He was the opening act and he was the best part of the show. Watching him control his laptop with his voice the guy was insane! huge mad props for name dropping him! 👌 BrAp oN!!¡!✋✌️
This is the first and only time that I've ever wanted to use Ableton ✌️😃 Beautiful sound design here man!!! I'm going to have to translate some of this into FL Studio 🤔👍
@@orpheuscreativeco9236 hey - thank you! If you do figure any of it out in FL please drop a comment here. I know I always have people who are interested in doing what I do in other DAWs!!
Kind of a poor man’s granulizer? Little different in the DSP structure but great results/sounds. Great vid. I’m wondering if my Arturia bbd emulation can do this…. Old skool.
@@jmm8476 yes definitely getting towards some granular type sh. I always find more success with the digital delays for this sort of stuff but I’m sure you’ll get some wild stuff out the bbd
Just curious -- who are your favorite artists that make this type of music? I love Arca and Eartheater and stuff like that but I'm tryna dig deeper into this genre
AYYYYY there aren't a lot of really good glitchy tutorials out there but this is sick!! when you shifted the sound up to plus 12 i had a cheeky grin like this mfer!! hahahahahaah yeah defo gonna have a fun time resampling today :D
