The only reason anyone would buy a Pacifica over an Odyssey or Sienna is because stow n' go seats are very practical. Other than that, it's a dumb move to chose a Pacifica.
Honda has finally got a right infotainment system. Big improvement.

In a snow country like Spokane and other parts of the Northern Tier states, Honda should make AWD an option, like the Toyota Sienna.Otherwise, the tech and styling are all very impressive.
We used to have a 2006 and loved it!

The doors open AND close from the fob.. they have done so for years.. nothing new.

thanks for the video. i would like to see if you can give some comments on about the automatic Idle stop function for this 2018 Odyssey while you are doing this video blog the whole week? I just bought this elite model as well. Have been driving for a week and a half. Honda claimed that the idle stop function will not be noticeable when the brake is engaged and released, but i did felt the engine on and off very obvious. Also i feel like it uses more gas when it is a stop and go traffic with automatic idle stop turned on.

I like the look of this van. I think Honda did a good job, except for one thing...that shifter has got to go. I've driven Chrysler products with the rotary shifter and a Lincoln with a push button transmission, just don't get it. Give me a regular shift.

carlos lorenzo I think that would depend on Honda cars Philippines if they decide on bringing in the US or JDM version. They brought in the US Pilot so there's hope. 😉

Great videos as always, Dave. But there is something that always irks me about your reviews. It's a silly thing really. And that's Android auto. You always mention Apple Carplay, but you rarely say it's also compatible with Android auto. Not everyone uses an iPhone. In fact more people use Android phones in the U.S. I notice also when you encounter a car with those wireless charging pads (Qi tech), that you don't mention that it's very useful for many Android and windows phone users ( particularly Samsung Galaxy customers). You should also let it be known that it doesn't work with iPhones at all natively unless you buy a powermat adapter. I don't know-- I get it's a car show and not a smartphone channel, but I just think that not talking about a car's compatibility with the mobile platform that has the lead in market share is a little misleading to those customers. Otherwise, love your style and how you do these previews and reviews. Let's see this thing do off-road!
I don't get the point of the power sliding doors. To me, using all my mighty power (when I was young) to close the sliding door was my fondest memory of our 92 Plymouth Voyager.
I know it is apples and oranges but I am looking to purchase a Odyssey or VW Atlas. Curious to know what your choice would be. I have two girls 9 and 12 so no carseats or little ones. The specs scream Minivan over SUV but........... Can I be a VAN MAN.

Yay. Another ugly Honda. 🙄 Honda and Acura lost me. The 18 Accord is hideous, like everything else in their lineup. I don't do i4 or CVT. 2018 Camry XSE V6 is awesome. They nailed it.
Dude..I had one of these a while back. While they are great for utility,,,they are still the ugliest rigs in the van world!!!

Disney Fan ikr! Honda is better about reliability but the pacifica is just awesome about the design especially the dashboard and infotainment. This honda design is just too busy for me. The pacifica is focusing more about enjoy driving and daily purposes.
