If Licensing knocks on your door just say "No!" and close the door. End of story in 99.999% of cases. I cancelled my license 4 years ago. Covered over the aerial socket and locked out the live TV function on my TV with a password I didnt look at. Watching live TV is just awful and so frustrating if I stay somewhere that has it. Makes me feel ill to be honest.

I wouldn't exactly blame Netflix for that, I'd blame the whacky government that made the law in the first place.

It's both of their faults. Netflix doing live stuff is useless.

I'll just use torrent sites thanks. Don't need streaming sites or loads of plastic shit lying around, no censorship and I can take my entire film collection around with me wherever I go on a tiny little black box.

Get rid of your Dr Who DVD's, hell no? But, I'm old so I have stuff.

You always needed a tv licence to watch live tv....so no change?

    • @JoeTheUberGeek

The change is, no netflix as before, you could watch it. Think that qualifies as change.

@@JoeTheUberGeek You can still watch Netflix without a TV licence, you just cannot watch their live broadcasts.
I couldn't watch their live broadcasts before they existed and, because I don't have a TV licence, I still can't - so no change?

    In the uk?
Already there with physical media don’t have the space for more.

Yep, in the UK, the end of my video explains this.

The UK have bigger issues then censorship since they live in the caliphate now and still have to pay a license fee to watch TV like a good little subject.

Physical media is great. The only problem is places like Disney are removing classic media from the shelves and pushing out altered version of sad media in limited quantities, while also increasing their price. Is the only way to go. Companies have gotten too fat and our dollar no deserve more of our moneyfor ruining the stuff we used to love

eBay, charity shops and private sales - best place to get physical media that isn't "updated".
