It really makes me sad that we can finally see two alpha machines close enough from each other to have an epic fight, but it looks so lame and their fight tactics look soooo boring :( We need a fix or a bug to get it better
well they seem to be made to fight Aloy, not rachother. But that's what happens when you have a game with so many different mechanics and interactions, some of them must be sacrificed
Yes indeed I have also tried scenario multiple times, the closest I got was overriding the slaughterspine and getting the storm bird like 3/4 hp gone,sad thing when I fight an apex slaughterspine fam litterely uses all of its long rangeed weapons when I’m so close,I think so they will make and update abt this issue if not that will be SAd and dreadful,And in this vid the storm bird killed the slaughterspine which surprised me,since I thought the slaughterspine would make it go back to its leage and this game is just too good,I know guerrialla ain’t seeing this but alteast should do long range attacks on something that isn’t on the ground,yesterday I saw a glitched tide ripper near a dreadwing site and oh my god what a battle I’m so happy my game glitched and the tide ripper won because it actually used its long ranged attacks . Dreadwing still put a fight,thetakasiguy thank you building these scenarios of battles it’s very entertaining but if I do the same battle as u like yesterday the 2 widemaws and snapmaws I over the widemaws instead they won I love the vids keep it up and guerilla pls fix this👍👍

This is really unfortunate, I've overriden a slaughterspine to fight the Stormbird, and the slaughterspine demolished the Stormbird. Here, a Stormbird is overriden and the slaughterspine is an APEX variant. But in this case, the slaughterspine is stupid and unreliable!
There has been some changes from the previous game that make no sense. Why do overridden have a timed limit when mounts are indefinite? Also, why can't we not right the big machines!? I would like to override the machines but because I have advanced so much that all I am getting is the Apex forms for which it makes no sense as to why we can't override those

Ngl if you put any machine against a storm bird you should remove its ability to shoot lightning balls so that it actually goes in and starts fighting
This AI problem is probably why we never had or will never have a dedicated mode where we can do any fight we want with the machines

You can get infinite override.
There are armor skills for it.
