      This sounds pretty stupid but if you follow the directions, it works! I would suggest watching the video a couple of times and then do it while watching the video. In my case it was a 2017 Ford Focus (Titanium Model)

      I don't need a high-line TPMS system to tell me which specific tire is low. The cost of maintaining this type of system farrrrrr outweighs the benefits. The sensors are expensive, need replaced after a few years because of cheap batteries, the labour cost to install, relearn and retrain the sensors is ridiculous. With a low line system I never have to worry about replacing any sensors because there are no dedicated sensors. The low tire pressure light comes on, I take out my tire gauge and check the psi on each tire manually, add air to the offending tire(s) and the warning light disappears immediately - beautiful. Thank god my 2018 Ford Escape is a low-line system. No having to turn the key this way and that way 50 times, wait 200 seconds and repeat, just to get rid of the light, ridiculous lol

    I did this twice but the “Tire Pressure Sensor Fault” is still popping up. Any suggestions?

    • @Kajillin
      @Kajillin Месяц назад

      TPMS are battery powered. Once the battery dies they no long work and need to be replaced. Cheap ones last 3-5 years. Good ones last up to 12 years. This just removes the code from the computer, but if the sensor is dead the fault will just keep returning until they are replaced and the computer is recoded for the new sensors.

    • @its_mr_clutch

      @@Kajillinwhat are the chances all 4 sensors are fucked at the same time?

    • @Kajillin
      @Kajillin Месяц назад

      its likely but not guaranteed. they will fail around the same time but maybe not the exact same. Every time your tires rotate the sensors are activated and start transmitting. When the batteries start to die the transmitters output is not continuous so one might die sooner than the others by draining more battery. Your better off getting them all done at the same time. Because if one has died the others as going to die soon as well.

    in regards pairing for new sensors/wheels; is after putting into calibrate mode you then let the tyre down on each one asked for until the horn goes (many vids on this also on youtube if needed). So its good to pump them up a bit to start say 40psi

      yeah I got the beep then double beep confirmation but 5his video doesn't explain why it's only calibrating the front left tire. I'm going to try your suggestion since that makes more sense, seeing the word "calibrating" and specifying only one corner.

    • @dean6125
      @dean6125 2 года назад

      Mines a 16 plate. It would not recognise letting tyres down. So I haven't bothered get the reset tool and just left it. I have 4 new wheels off my old focus so nothing off the old tpms system. I done the pressure reset from the menus and it now works fine.
      So not all tpms need pairing

    Hi, great video. I was able to use the same procedure on my 2014 Fiesta ST. Cheers

    I have a 2012 lincoln mkx push start, when I try to do the pushing on and off, the first push gets the accessory to come on and then second push doesn't turn it off, it then turns the radio and everything else on. Then the 3rd push turns it off. I've tried your method, but can't get to the train position. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

    Does a 2017 limited expedition have a screen somewhere that shows individual tire pressures? I can’t seem to find one so I’m assuming it has something come up when one gets low??
