  • Did you know we have between 20-49 lymph nodes under our arms which are very close to our breasts? (Lymph nodes filter out and eliminate bacteria, viruses, cancer cells and any unwanted substances from the body.) Most commercial deodorants contain questionable ingredients that come in direct contact with your armpits and that may or may not cause cancer related diseases... may or may not is not enough for me. This prompted me to stop using these kinds of deodorant 14 years ago. I now make my own deodorant and I can be sure it will not give me underarm lumps or expose me to dangerous diseases.

Hi Charles. That’s a reused bottled from a natural deodorant of a German brand my partner had previously bought. I simply washed it well and reused it. If you have an unused one sitting around, try and see if you can remove the cap and the roll on with a knife (be careful with your hands of course). Before buying a bottle, see if you can reuse one you already own, and if you have to buy an empty one, I’d definitely favor a local business over Amazon 🙃

However, it doesn’t take long to melt it again: just put it in a bowl with hot water, wait a few minutes (you can take a shower in the meantime) and done! Alternatively, you can replace the coconut oil for almond oil, I just really like the smell of extra virgin coconut oil 😊
