I completed 1 year as a subscriber of your channel... ❤️
1 year ago i was looking for best adventure bikes under budget and i saw your one video on versys.. I loved your content. Genuine reviews. 👍🏻 ❤️
Lucky you , suzuki has re shared your review
Based on informed and honest reviews, the Biologist Biker shall be buying it very soon leaving the option of Dominar 400 and KTM 390. What I understood about this bike is - it's light, reliable, gives good mileage, and super road presence. Since my work takes me to tought and hard terrains, I believe this bike shall be a good companion.
If offroad is your thing ktm adv are better other than that vstrom has nothing to worry about.
a proud owner of VStrom SX 250. Thanks to you I got this bike. It's amazing!

Which service centre do you go to for your bike service? And is there any specific mechanic in that centre whom you prefer servicing your bike?
I recently bought this machine and must say its too good a tourer. Just loving its road presence

Just a random comparison question, for touring purposes, how does this bike compare with Dominar 250?
What are the genuine positives of d250 over SX.
Why I asked, because I find SX genuinely good and fun motorcycle.
Dominar is much heavier and have heard it's a bit harder to control at slow speeds. I have done a few rides of upto 300km on my VStrom and it does give me great confidence of stability and 100-110 kmph. I'm a little short for the bike, yet feel this is greater for both City and touring usage.
Sir, please make a detailed video of Kawasaki W175.....ASAP......
Thank you ever so much for your pinpoint analysis of machines and key advice on improving the riding experience. If I may seek your valuable insights on a matter related to this bike. After installing a BMC air filter and putting in an Iridium spark plug, do you think it makes sense to invest in FuelX Pro? I go on long tours (3500 km +) and hope to travel up North through the Himalayas too. I already see a marked improvement in performance on the closed loop system on my VStrom but wonder if a fuel optimiser will further significantly improve the performance of this wonderful machine. Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
thanks ! I am happy with stock things.. but if you are that guy where every small things matters then might be good idea for you .. but can't say much !!!
@@FalconRiders thank you for your prompt response. Your review of the bike and its capabilities is what decided it for me. You've proven time and again that it's more the skill than the bike that makes all the difference. Keep sharing your wonderful biking experiences and nuggets of wisdom.

How is the pillion comfort?
Proude owner of v-strom sx,I own black ❤
Hi bro, i am gonna purchase this bike soon, can you share your cons about the bike and is that con manageable with any advancements?
your knuckle guards are upside down.
the left knuckle guard is to be fitted on the right side of the handlebar turning the upside down. it will give better protection form wind as well as insects.
in fact in my v strom the same wrong fitting was there.
thanks for the update will check.. was fine till now but will see if that is even better 👍
I owned it for a year now and it gives 35km in City and 39 on highways ...on average...
its a good bike for everyday use
Is the service maintenance costly ?
Sir, are the footpegs rear set like Gixxer which makes awkward seating position in vstorm which leads to painful experience during long rides as claimed by many.. True?
Not at all
What is the max load capacity of this bike
Do you feel vibrations in handle in low rpm with top gears especially when you accelerate?
No, this engine is very refined
Yes bike has vibration issues
Bhai there's a video in that the guy has changed some front internal shocker components and xpulse monoshock in rear and it has made it as good as Himalayan, what are your views on that ?
I like it the way it is.. more you change it more chances of it to break down....
Engine is refined till 5000 RPM. How are the vibrations above that ? What is the comfortable cruising speed for this engine ?
Till 90-95 kmph(it reaches 100 on 6000 RPM) it's super smooth and also returns a mileage of 38-42kmpl, but above that i personally feel a bit less confident, coz bike is light, but vibrations are negligible on 6000-6500 RPM. For me, comfortable cruising speed is 90 kmph.
One thing to remember, always use suzuki recommended motul 7100 10w40 or motul 300v 10w40, Ecstar is a bit cheaper than these 2, but performance is poor, and after 2000-2500 kms, my bike became powerless.
is it worth to buy in 2024
Do you find the gear bit clunky in your bike? I rode a test drive bike recently and I found it's gear shifting is very clunky and hard. Is it a common issue with all the Vstorm? Thanks in advance.
to be honest its one of the very smooth gearbox.... I have ridden 5-6 vstrom all are same
@@FalconRiders thank you for the reply. Then the test drive bike I rode might have that particular problem.
I think
Almost all motorcycles above 200 cc are good to ride on mountains (not off road) because of sufficient amount of torque they provide.
Your height bai?
why your audio seems so muffled?

Changing color of vehicle is illegal
Bike is good overall. Doesn't overpromise or underperform. Does it face rusting issues in long term?

Dj bro one question...please answer... my v strom has some vibration on lower RPM and windshield literally shakes(around 2500-3500 rpm, after that everything is normal). SX 250 or RE Himalayan 411?
Test ride kr lo.. Dono accha hai... Prefer himalayan 411..
Its i nice bike... But same engine & suspension travel is available in Gixxer 250. Why should one will spend 30k more for just for ground clearance
No brother just not for the ground clearance but the look and road presence is far better than Gixxer and the seat is far more comfortable than Gixxer, both for rider and pillion(I took a test ride of both bikes and currently own the SX). The the tall stunt of this bike really helps on bad roads(I live in village area).
Nope, the suspension travel is 120mm in front vs 100mm of Gixxer and rear is completely different with 143mm of travel. Engine tuning is different, different fueling and probably gearing.
The bike is almost completely new except for the main frame and headlamp. The sub frame is wider, longer and is reinforced for ADV riding so pillion comfort and luggage carrying is excellent. The Swing Arm is new and longer, the front rake is relaxed, the brakes are bigger, the chain is different, the footpegs are steel and welded (Gixxer is aluminium), wheels, tyres and even clutch cable is different.
So, go out there and take a test ride, VStrom is an extremely well engineered, proper ADV and Gixxer is a sports bike and dont go by the lazy reviewers who say both are same, they probably want you to buy the Himalayan as they are RE stooges
@@villan0379 I agree with you completely. I came actually really close to buying this bike, but something is holding me back.
Some of the things that bug me are:
- Suspension travel.
- No hazard lights
- Parts availability.
- Foot peg positioning
- Tail light
- Plastic panels.
Imo the engineers were a bit lazy when it came to designing of this motorcycle. They just copy pasted way too much and put up to panels to name it V strom.
The thing is, my family asks me to buy a RE. Even I thought of buying the classic. But I kinda liked the V strom at a glance. Now the main problem is, I have to make sure, I am buying a good bike. And the above-mentioned stuffs really worries me. I really hope there's a Version 2 that sorts out these things.
@@akashcovers The Suspension travel is more than enough for this lightweight bike, travel is only part of suspension, damping and rebound also matter. This is a well tuned suspension ripping off road overseas, even in India "AutoX" showed how superior this bike is compared to Scram411 in their video
Hazard lights - can be installed aftermarket for 2000,
Parts - Suzuki is the 4th biggest 2 wheeler manufacturer with wide network much bigger than Yamaha now,
Foot peg positioning - all ADVs will feel like that, you will adapt to it in 100kms or so
Tail light - this is Suzuki signature lamp, even Hayabusa and Intruder 1200 cc have similar shape, this is not just simply lifter from Gixxer
Plastic panels - Even BMW 1250 GS, Aftrica Twin have plastic panels, Metal is old school and has no place in a modern ADV as it adds weight
Engineers do not design a bike, Designers do. What copy paste you are talking about, every single panel is unique to this bike, Even mechanincally the subframe is bigger, wider than Gixxer 250, swing arm is longer, wheels/tyres are different, just because headlight/tail light looks same people automatically believe entire thing is copy/paste. Check the bike in showroom, you will come to know how BIG and different this bike is compared to Gixxer.

Firstly, great thanks to you for the superb Zanskar videos. That series made me decide to go for vStrom (had almost booked H'ness) and have been enjoying joy ride almost everyday. I agree with all your points in this review. Rear suspension got a bit softer after 4K km and is better now.
By the way, what's the switch next to the left mirror housing? The one next to the right mirror, I presume it's for Aux lamps.
Also, have you installed Hazard lights on your bike? That's one serious Miss from Suzuki on this bike, which otherwise is a brilliant engine coupled to a great chassis. Clutch could've been lighter and no other complaints, I guess.
thanks man! thats for AUX lights... and other one for rear hazard light.... yeah hazard switch could have been a nice add on... but there are after market installations where you can have that
What do you mean got suspension got softer 4k? I seriously which the suspension was softer - bangalore roads are terrible!
@@rishabhrander9535 Pune is no different brother. What I meant is suspension travel loosened up a little after 4K km.
I'm in your place now bro... Confused between hness 350 and vstrom 250. Need a bike for daily office commuting and once In a week or month touring. Which one would u suggest as mileage plays a crucial role for me before opting any of these bike
@@shlokjadhav8393 I would happily recommend vStrom. One word of caution is service centres. Suzuki is infamous for service centres.. Find out the better or best service centres in the city
Secondly for my style of riding, I've consistently been able to get 40kmpl in city traffic and on highways have achieved up to 48 on 300km rides (which is 5-12 kmpl better than any 350 cc bike out there). Bike has super refined engine and really good build quality, may be 95% of Honda's.
I have daily commuting of 40km incity and weekly of 70km in highways with family. Which is better? Sx250 or x440
Worried about quality of plastics of vstrom. Need a bike for 5-7years.
