    Looks like those rusty bolts are after market ones! Adjust clutch lever play to company specs(10-15mm if I'm not mistaken) and use good engine oil for smooth gear change!

      Didn’t change clutch settings and I use Suzuki recommended engine oil only, still gear is hard 😩

    Brilliant review.. Those rusting on bolts are cheap bolts from the crash guards and fog light bolt/nut.. OE bolts all seem to be holding very good especially engine...

    Hi brother, the bolt which you have shown at the rear side of the engine with full of rust, that bolt is not from the stock bike it is replaced when you installed that crash guard.

      Yes, that makes sense bro. I was not there all the time when Crash guard was installed. This bad rush may be because of that.

      True. But stand of this bike is aweful. I changed the stand twice from service centre due to heavy rust. Still the 3rd one started rusting.

    Good review. But honestly none of the cons made sense except front suspension. Even there due to very poor design of the crash guard you have lost at least 15 mm travel. Please check Zana design. The build quality of the bike is excellent. Welds are beautifully done, and most of the rust you showed either was in aftermarket fittings or inconsequential to usage. Value for money depends, I personally prefer quality materials like did chain, led headlamps, brilliant engine characters etc over useless gimmicks like traction control and ride by wire. Slipper clutch would have been nice but not a dealbreaker. Lastly I just came back after doing a fair bit of trail riding on this bike. The ground clearance is amazing. It’s definitely not an off-roader nor is it adventure but it does manage basic trails brilliantly. And lastly the instrument cluster layout is quite adequate, especially since it’s a dot matrix type setup. All I need while riding are RPM, gear and speed in that order. All three are quite visible and prominent. Rest are all useless anyway. And I do use navigation feature and it’s really good once you get the hang of it.

    Maine kal hi book kiya hu v storm.. aur pehle maine ktm 250 adv aur v storm dono ka test ride liya tha.. ktm ka initial torque kaafi zyada hai shayad jiski wajah se ktm ka engine heat karta hai.. baaki chalane me dono comfortable hai.. par sabse bada difference price me tha .. abhi mere yahan v storm ka on road 2.30 hai aur ktm 250 adv ka 2.92.. seedha 62k ka difference..

    Bro i need help
    i have a query regarding v strom 250 , My v strom becomes buzzy and i can feel vibrations on foot pegs and handlebars on 2-3rd gear on 3000-4000 rpm but the moment i go on higher gears the vibrations disappears,do you have similar issues ?

    Cb200x is best looking as well but only problem is underperforming engine and single channel abs.

      Scram 440 has a heavy clutch Just like all the other REs I am sure. And that is the same 411 engine that has been bored out to 440.

      Engine response is bad under 2000 rpm. When Adv 250 crosses 2000 rpm it feels amazing. Basically lower end is not good.

    Paaji ek question hai mere pass bhi same bike hai meri bike jab main cold start karta hu toh mera silencer red colour ka Hojata hai engine ki side se ye normal hai kya ek bar ap apnin bike main bhi check karenge or ye raat ko pata chalta hai

      Ye to problem hay. Mere bike pe aisa nehi hota hay. Ha silencer garam hota hay but colour change nehi karta hay. Service centre leke jao. Engine overheating kar raha hay.

    Bro, would yoi recommend this?
    I am very much confused with this and Cb350rs.
    Took test drive of both, I felt SX engine response better as it has more power but also when I took the test drive i was able to notice like hissing kind of a sound in the bike in the second around engine, i am not sure though.
    Please give me your honest opinion.
    I live in Bengaluru and there are mixed opinion on service.
    My max budget is 3lakh and i really dont want to invest on KTM and YEZDI.
    I am 6.3 ft tall

      If you want to ride it in city only and minor touring. Go for it. But few things you have to keep in mind. Suspension is not good, Honda has way better suspension. So when you go on a bit difficult road, this bike will struggle.
      On the other hand Engine is very smooth and responsive.
      Get a test ride for CB200X also.

    Ghnta 38 deta hai mine only gives 30 kmpl in city and even in highway ive completed around 34k KM On this bike this sucks fuel very much

    Hello, I just bought a V-storm a month ago. I would want to add one more complaint, and it has to do with the windshield. The helmet makes too much noise when I drive 50 or more and the wind hits it. I need some advice on how to avoid it.

      If at 50km/h helmet makes too much noise, then get a better helmet, problem is with helmet not visor, maybe its too loose!
