No effort to reach 100-110.. easy n smooth cruise .
note: aftyer doing couple of highway tours on highway the mileage was around 39-40(tank-tank, 41 on meter).

But people with v storm told 2000-3000 km pe breakpads change Krna pad ra hai
edit: for few people they had to chnage early , but not for most. Personally i have done 5k km but still 50% bradepads avi bhi hai, it works good enough.

I will buy the VStrom 250 SX if Suzuki increase the suspension travel, increase the tank capacity to 15 litres, slightly taller handlebars with a revised peg position for ease of riding when standing up on the pegs, also give better brakes and switchtable ABS with a stronger light setup.

i own the same bike and every bit of his review is true . and the mileage i am getting on highway is 38-40 if the speed is in 70-80 range and 36-38 if the speed is in 90-110 range and city mileage is 35.power is very good the bike is super smooth at 60-85 kmph range

Iam also getting exactly same figures bro 120 is the sweet spot without any vibrations and the highest speed i got is 150 but we don't ride 150 for crusing..i have already mentioned 120 is the sweet spot...Very good bike and i have seen many stupids giving negative reviews about the bike...it's a very good bike...They are expecting only off roading with the bike..Even the company claims it as Tourer and mild off roader...I don't know what's the issue for these idiots...Very low maintenance and very reliable bike...I have purchased in banglore itself and riding in heavy traffic without any issues ..
@@MysticRiderPrateek because most of them are Himalayan fanbois ,that’s why they criticise suzuki v storm , because it has the most refined and the most capable engine and has better mileage in its segments.
I am getting a mileage of 41, mix use of city and street, not too much traffic mostly, i can feel slight vibes, at 5.5K rpm, which goes away and then creeps back, so I ride within 5K, at that, I would say 80 is the best cruising speed both for safety and comfort

6:45 - Not exactly correct. Saddle stay is not required for any gixxer or the V Strom. Suzuki has designed saddle bags in shape with the bikes (56) litres combined. Pair that with a tank bag and a tail bag, one has enough storage. Sure if you need oversized bags you might require one but the bike is well designed. It can take alot of different shapes of bags if mounted correctly. I only have a custom top rack made for my 250 and that's about all I need for more than a month on the road.

You said this is 835mm seat height and your feets are flat almost, while in your yezdi scrambler video you said you ride BMW and your feets and half way touching the ground while its 825mm. I am confused now

@@sagarmurmu2569 if u want a good tourer go for vstrom. If u want a sporty feel and more committed seating go for gixxer. They are different for different purposes. Engine is the same, suspension front of both are same though and maybe rear too.
@@krisindia i like the v storm’s look from side but doesn’t look good when I sit on the motorcycle; the handle is so thin and looks like bicycle handlebar

Vstrom Is almost a go anywhere bike and in comfort.
I'm not saying this because I bought a vstrom...I bought a expulse rally edition and put the rally cage on it like the yezdi adventure which covers the engine and tank. But I bought mine for solely two reasons.
1 Desi brand and easy to maintain and spares.
2 go anywhere bike and fun while doing so.
So figure out which will be ur main reason/s to buy a bike and go for it...but only looks may make u regret later.

Bhai, what is your purpose for the bike? If you are not interested in going very fast or corner carving and want to ride a relaxed bike with a calm demeanour, go for the long stroke engines. If you want exhilarating fun while riding and good acceleration anytime on tap, go for the suzuki. Since both bikes can do long distances easily, it's really your choice. I own a gixxer 250 and trust me, it's mad fun. I'd recommend get a gixxer and then invest in the remaining money in good gear and accessories
Was in bit confuse between the same,
Chosen and bought V storm yesterday.
The major aspects of choosing V storm over Honda CB300 are good plastic quality and looks sturdy,better service network,pillion seat,good design ,vibration-free,luggage provision.
CB300f is purely value for the money (Radial Tyre,USD,Traction control,hazard light,Dual ABS,Slipper clutch,great pricing ) and you can go for it if you tend to accept the build quality,service network,design.
I own Gixxer 150 and i have back pain issue because I ride 50+50km strech, the seats there are very stiff. So planing to upgrade into SX 250. So how is the seating comfort? Can anyone help me

I also have gixxer sf 155 and I have driven it from Chennai to Salem total 357kms in 5:30hours travel with 20 mins for breakfast with 45kmpl mileage and top speed 120 and average I guess always above 100. I don’t get back pain or wrist pain. After reaching home I went to play badminton. So I suggest you to eat well and go to gym. Bcos there is no back pain in gixxer sf😅
How can I reduce seat height to 800mm? Is there any lowering kit available as for 650? My height is 5.5 ft
Yes, u can reduce till 805 mm with seat lowering kit provided by suzuki worth 1000 rs

3, royal enfield meteor

7, jawa standard,

Not really becasue most the ones you mentioned are retro styles, or scramblers, and not adv-tourers. Big difference riding a Jawa Bobber or Classic 350 on highways for 3+ hours your back will be busted. Also vibrations and relatively inferior refinement will make you miserable on highways. Plus you can't confidently do mild off-roading with those. Not that VStorm is for off-roading, but even if you're a novice, the bike is forgivable in off-roading, or gravel / muddy roads.

Yes definitely, I'm 5'6, I do tip toe on the original seat, and place half foot on lower seat.. I'm keeping both the seats with me..
Moreover, the bike will feel very light when you start riding. I don't feel the weight at all even in heavy traffic.
