    1:38 purpose : "legacy of achievement" purpose : achievement itself
    2:15 Ray Kroc = ENTJ
    3:00 John Sculley = ENTJ
    5:00 INTPs & ESFJs will be remembered for their discoveries, it's their purpose
    5:50 idleness is lack of purpose & freedom in their life
    6:20 greedy for opportunities, resources, people
    8:00 vice & virtues are bad when out of control
    9:00 greed = "spirit of commerce", interest-based : promoting mutual benefit. Greed = generosity towards oneself.
    11:50 greed is bad when they're the only ones benefiting from it.

    I'm going to be greedy and ask for more ENTJ content. The ENTJ content from CSJ has been lacking and even why I cancelled my patreon membership. I like the direction that everything has been going in but I would be lying if I said that I understood how it fits into an ENTJ's life. Example involving this episode, am I supposed to just think like I'm Gordan Gekko and think "Greed is good?" No, obviously not. Chase said a thing but it's not connected to the rest of the systems. I know that Chase knows what he's talking about but that doesn't help ME. Also, I hope that he elaborates more on the body temple because that video wasn't very viewer-friendly. All I gathered from it was that purpose is important and that leads to legacy. That's it.

      The problem is that we need more ENTJ acolyte members. As this increases ENTJ related content.

      @CSJoseph what are acolyte members? I am an ENTJ who studied Neuroscience in university and have been studying your work for a couple years now and been learning MBTI/Socionics using it in my daily life both in business and relationships. I feel I have a lot of insight on ENTJs as a whole that I feel the ENTJ, Body Temples and Wayfarers community as a whole could benefit from

    How generosity can be bad:
    A Man came into a Wood one day with an axe in his hand, and begged all the Trees to give him a small branch which he wanted for a particular purpose. The Trees were good-natured and gave him one of their branches. What did the Man do but fix it into the axe head, and soon set to work cutting down tree after tree. Then the Trees saw how foolish they had been in giving their enemy the means of destroying themselves.

    Kinda like my comment on the recent video about “Wayfarer Abusers,” when I’d mentioned that, with all the giiiiiving we’re supposed to be doing (but without measuring), it’s easy for that giiiiiving to become a curse. Just as he said here. Generosity can become a curse if you’re receiving less than you’re giving. But again, the problem there is that we’re not *supposed* to measure. We’re “just supposed to give.”
    Fi hero and Fi inferior aspirational CAN be good at valuing things and (interest Vs systematic) coming up with win/wins. At least in my experience. And yesssss we have to write stuff down, I get that.

      Give because you are good. Do not give because you are trying to be good.

    • @Persephone44
      @Persephone44 Год назад +1

      @@CSJoseph Of course, Chase. “Good” here is subjective and not very helpful. Part of the purpose of these videos is self-awareness and self-improvement. This infers some aspect of “trying/effort/thinking.” Otherwise, there would be no reason to post these abuse and other videos. Because of that, my question remains, from the aspect of self improvement. There is a dichotomy presented here. Are you saying, then, that you’d define giving without measuring as “being good.” Whereas, measuring a value exchange of generosity (i.e. “trying”) is NOT “being good.”

    C.S. Joseph encouraging people to sin nature yet again. This time you can't be naive enough not to realise. But you keep fanning him... He met 1 nice person and he instantly starts to ruin him. So ENTJs and ISFPs shouldn't achieve to be generous to their loved ones, to themselves, noo they should be greedy instead. Riiight.
    What motivates me as an INTJ to achieve is to create better circumstances for people in my life, and for other good people. I don't want a car for myself, i don't care to put in the effort enough for myself, but i want to be able to drive to people (instead of others giving me lift from rail station) and to take people places. I want to be a great chef to my pleasure and health, even more so for other people's. I want to have resources to get meaningful things done which create better life for everybody. Envy doesn't motivate me, this does.
    But surely Chase is going to do what he usually does, picking the way to sin. And encourages all his followers to do the same. Because to him it's *logical*

    I relate to this so much it’s scary. My legacy of achievement and something I wanted to pass down was my dream home. I love Victorian homes, plantations of the south, and old farmhouses. My house is a mix these. The architectural details were important to me. I know I achieved it because when people come over that’s what they say, it’s like walking into an old house but a renovated one I guess lol. I’m so weird I even think about how I want my funeral to look, my tombstone, and what I’ll be wearing! A Victorian gown hopefully. 🤣

  • @nikolettavarga8351
    @nikolettavarga8351 Год назад +2

    There's no way developing deadly sins is the right direction to take. Yikes. It's better to approach this from priority-value perspective. His family, his number one legacy (let that represent money staying in his own pocket as well) is more important than clients. Family > clients. Meaningful purpose will benefit many people, for which few clients pay relatively more. More people > few clients.
    Also can be approached by keeping track of who has contributed to him - wife for 5 years continuously >> client for 30 minutes
    One more is from Ne perspective - why be (significantly) generous before people prove they have good intentions, are trustworthy
    Ray Dalios Se Child looks cute
