Hey everyone! So I just heard back from Razer regarding the lubed switches claim. They said that the new switches will have lube applied to the spring inside - but as I said in the video everything was bone dry. Could be that the lube dried out? Could be that particular spring has it applied too thin? Idk, cough #LUBEGATE cough jk, but yes they did say all springs will be lubed in production units.
Do u think it's better than the other 60% keyboard? I'm thinking of buying ducky one 2 mini, wich is better you think? The Ducky one 2 mini or the new razor 60% keyboard
after watching this, i m not jumping into the huntsman TE, nor the mini since i prefer my ducky mecha in 60% format, or may be they would soon release a TE 2020 version lol

Love that Razer has stepped up with their Mechanical keyboards game. It's easy to buy in your local retail since it's Razer and the keyboard itself is not bad at all. Really considering changing my Ducky mini to this beauty

@@thauras4059 Oh yeah! Just got it today! :D It's amazing!! Switches are the best, super quiet linear. The only thing is stabilizers on aren't the greatest but it's not a deal-breaker. Also, RGB doesn't shine as bright as I would like for the black model but that's a personal preference thing.
@@alikhalaf1169 same as on screen when a keyboard shows the key you just pressed. You just look over their shoulder and see what they pressed. It might not be possible the first time, but the more times that person is present the easier it becomes.
Don’t even worry about it. Razer products are just not good. They are way overpriced and very cheaply designed. Granted this is a nice keyboard, but most of their keyboards are way too loud. There are way more 60% keyboards that are a lot better than this on tho

Frank, I have to say your attention to detail and color coordination is unbelievable. At 3:06 you arranged all of the screws in a radial pattern in the dish AND alternated between facing in and out with each screw. The notebooks on the left side of the frame perfectly compliment the colorways of the switches, keyboard, puller and dish. In your intro and outro shots, the green of your desktop background is even matched to your eye color. Honestly it goes beyond the point of being pleasing and relaxing for me and starts to make me feel uncomfortable because everything is too well-coordinated and tidy like I'm living in a simulation, but please take this as a compliment.
Razer has defenitly been my favorite gaming company this year, great keyboards, great mouses, sharp prices. Good focus on actual good stuff for competetive gaming, with the Razer Viper, and now this keyboard.

I think they should, unless the Razer cynosa doesn’t have mechanical switches. If your keyboard has membrane switches, then the keycaps will not be compatible.
Just got my razer huntsman with clicky switches and I was hoping that there was 60% keyboard but they didn't, so I just got the 100%. One week later 60% came out. -_-
11:10 when you can get the Anne Pro 2 with better keycaps, extra keycaps included, much more switch variety, rgb that is more customizable on board , bluetooth an that is built in high profile at 2/3 the price, it is still overpriced
I got myself a Ducky One 2 SF for $110 & it's fantastic. Had to wait a couple weeks to get it but it was well worth the wait. Edit: Anne Pro 2 is also an excellent keyboard.

Holy moly, just got it boys. It actually sounds EXACTLY LIKE IN THE VIDEO! I was really terrified that the ones that reviewers got were just better versions than the actual product but no! Its just as good! It was even scarrier because small fortnite asmr channels were claiming to be using the Mini Linear but were actually using the TE which was ultra clacky. Me and others called them out and they just seemed confused or dismissing. The spacebar sounds godlike and the keys sound like they were pre lubed by Taeha himself. Thank you Razer, you really nailed it this time.
I know this is a bit of a stretch to reply to a year old comment, but does it feel like the switches have become worse overtime, sound or feel wise since they'd been lubed I'm worried that they feel amazing at the start but deteriorate with time
Buying this as my first mechanical keyboard - ordered it today. I have always loved watching mech keyboard reviews and sound tests whilst reminding myself that I was too broke to get one. Welp I finally got enough and decided to get the huntsman mini. So excited! Edit: I got it - and having been using it for the last week I would definitely recommend
I got purples - I have always loved watching vids with clicky switches for the sound and don't regret it. They feel super light as well which is really nice

Man, I sold my ducky one 2 mini cause I couldn’t be bothered to get used to it tbh. There wasn’t anything WRONG with a 60%, but I use the F-row keys in games and multimedia keys often enough that I didn’t enjoy the learning process of using it. de joip It’s the “Razer tax”. All big companies add it on. It probably costs them less than $50 to makes these boards, and they tack on an extra 75 bucks just to make as much profit as possible.

@@Ausbals lmao I have a BlackWidow V2 and a Mamba Elite, what problems do you have with it? Never had any problems with it and it's great for synchronizing the lighting of my whole system with one click on my keyboard

Holy moly, just got it boys. It actually sounds EXACTLY LIKE IN THE VIDEO! I was really terrified that the ones that reviewers got were just better versions than the actual product but no! Its just as good! It was even scarrier because small fortnite asmr channels were claiming to be using the Mini Linear but were actually using the TE which was ultra clacky. Me and others called them out and they just seemed confused or dismissing. The spacebar sounds godlike and the keys sound like they were pre lubed by Taeha himself. Thank you Razer, you really nailed it this time.
I know this is a bit of a stretch to reply to a year old comment, but does it feel like the switches have become worse overtime, sound or feel wise since they'd been lubed I'm worried that they feel amazing at the start but deteriorate with time

Buying this as my first mechanical keyboard - ordered it today. I have always loved watching mech keyboard reviews and sound tests whilst reminding myself that I was too broke to get one. Welp I finally got enough and decided to get the huntsman mini. So excited!
Edit: I got it - and having been using it for the last week I would definitely recommend

I got purples - I have always loved watching vids with clicky switches for the sound and don't regret it. They feel super light as well which is really nice
Frank... That keyboard sounds FUCKING ATROCIOUS. You’re my favorite youtuber but I’m kinda surprised you were impressed with this. Sure, they got rid of the ping, but WHAT THE FLYING FUCK is all that rattle?!? And the stabs... my god the stabs were awful. Not a fan.

I don't know if you guys will be able to read this, but DO NOT buy this keyboard!! I am getting electrocuted from my Huntsman Mini on the wrist area. I didn't buy this to be electrocuted at all.
If Razer would just address this issue, the Huntsman Mini will ber one of the best keyboard I've ever used.

Man, I sold my ducky one 2 mini cause I couldn’t be bothered to get used to it tbh. There wasn’t anything WRONG with a 60%, but I use the F-row keys in games and multimedia keys often enough that I didn’t enjoy the learning process of using it.
I love computer tech, love looking at and seeing the new keyboards, mice, all the upgrades and mods people do to customize it, it looks so fun, but idk if I could get a new keyboard. I want one, but if I don’t use it, what would be the point? I’m so torn.
