I've heard lots of people rip on razer for bad software, and faulty products, but I've only ever experienced the former. I've had a couple pairs of their kraken pro headphones over the years, and they've always been great. I also am using the same ouroborous mouse and deathstalker keyboard that I've had for prolly a good 4 or 5 years at this point, and the only issue I've had is when razer dropped support for them from their software. :/ My mouse is starting to have issues with the scroll wheel, sometimes it jumps a step in the opposite direction, but beyond that, both the mouse and keyboard are still going strong. I'm particularly thankful for that with the keyboard, because I greatly prefer the chiclet style, and from my looking, there doesn't seem to be any high-end gaming-oriented chiclet keyboards left on the market...

7:27 Logitech's keyboards (at least the G512 and G513) both have secondary functions lit up. On my G513 (the Romer-G Linear option) F5 through F12, along with PrintScreen, Scroll Lock and Pause, all have secondary functions, but due to the way the light scatters around in the keycap, they don't light up much, and the lighting pattern is a bit inconsistent, especially at the bottom bit of the function icon. I can understand why Razer rather choose to leave them unlit, since unless you're in a darker environment where the lighting can shine bright comparative the the surroundings, its easier to see printed or engraved on. That said, I have my keyboard on a static purple most of the time, and when running the rainbow effect you can definitely notice the icons better due to brighter colours overall, but it's still less legible in a well-lit room than if it were printed.

The purple switches on this board is incredible to type on, especially if you want to use a light touch and use that tactile feedback to adjust your force in order not to bottom out. However, I regularly get tired of the horrible sounds it has. So much so that I god a Ducky One 3 with non-clicky switches as a second board becuase it was driving me mad. But even though the Ducky sounds, feels and looks like a higher quality board, I keep returning to typing on the Huntsman Mini now and then because the switches are just so superior to type on compared to any mechanical switch I've tried. The low actuation force, crisp tactile feedback at the exact point of actuation, combined with a relatively high bottom out force makes for quite a unique switch as far as I know. But using it too long without a headset will eventually make me put it in the drawer and get out my non-clicky board every time. Because man this thing is VERY rattly and loud...

I like it when the key caps go shiny over time. It's a cool heatmap of most keys pressed and evidence that I've had it for a long while so my money was well spent.

I own the white huntsman mini with the Linear Optical Switches and its the best gaming switch I ever used.. I also own a Glorious GMNK TKL with their Panda switches and the Logitech g915 wireless with the Cherry MX Red switches and this razer keyboard shits on all of them

Can you change profiles without synape? Meaning like pressing a physical button on the back of the keyboard or something....
Im thinking to have macro/remap my second profile as the same but with the arrow keys instead of IJKL when i dont press the fn button.
Im a photographer and sometimes i need to scroll through a bunch of photos without typing.
