There would need to be a fan made 3ds emulator made that would work on the Wii u. I'm sure it could be done, but the Wii u modding community isn't as big as other Nintendo platforms like the Wii and 3ds.
In more technical terms: MK7 wouldn't work because not only it has to emulate the game, but the amd chip the 3ds uses. In other words: Not strong enough That's why there isn't any 3ds games on WiiU
@@zac3249 emulated, those arcade variants run on Gamecube codes so they function as such except for the latest third one DX that is currently out. It’s made with different coding and cannot be played on the Wii U sadly

You can use yuzu emulator to play mk8 dx and then use moonlight to stream your pc to wiiu and play from there. Also might work for 3ds emulators so mk7 aswell

My only console is a Wii U and it’s so defunct but it still runs Mario kart tho I can’t play with other people only bots and I can’t upload my time trials to miiverse but it’s still awesome considering how forgotten and unpopular it was
It's kinda cool because if you get a car charger to wall charger take a wii u the power supply the ganepad the gamepad charger and if your me then take your external storage which needs to be plugged in and lastly a wall power that gives you more wall plugs though IT IS A VERY VERY TEDIOUS AND MESSY SETUP that is only used few times unless your on a road trip were you can bring your portable consoles and your amazing android phone with a absolutely amazing capability of console emulation and theb bring your razor kishi.

Because emulating a 3DS requires MUCH more power than a 3DS has, which a Wii U doesn't (it already struggles with N64 and DS games).
