I have over 45 varieties of Mangos in the Redlands, Homestead and I got rid of my Angie tree many years ago. There’s just so many excellent varieties out there and Angie just wasn’t worth it.
I agree, but I posted another tasting and all three participants loved Angie. The tree I almost cut down was Alphonso. But I couldn't bring myself to do it. Do you have a favorite? Mine is Lemon Zest but my LZ tree is sickly.
@@s.fla.beekeepingmangoesand1517 I cut down my Alphonso tree some years ago, it doesn’t do well in Florida at all. My top 10 favorites LAST YEAR were Peach Cobbler, Coconut Cream, Lemon Zest, Jumbo Kesar, Sugar Loaf, Fruit Punch, Seacrest, Cecilove, Orange Essence and M4. I might have a different top 10 this season. I spray my mango trees with Copper Hydroxide a few times a year but specially when they’re flowering and also fertilize them twice a year.
You've got three of my favorite mangoes Carrie, ice cream and Julie
Love these videos!! Learning a lot about mangoes!! Thank you for sharing
Great to hear.
I have Glenn, Florigon, and Valencia Pride, and Carrie is by far my favorite too.
VP has been a late producer this year. It also feels like the others produced early.
Them mangos looked good. Thanks
Do You have a favorite mango?

@@tonyqban That's great input. All I do is prune and mulch. I fertilize my avocados though and still they rarely produce.
