- In this video, Chris and five other mango lovers taste 'Julie' mango!
'Julie' is a mango cultivar of unknown parentage that is popular in Jamaica with an outstanding, complex flavor. This petite mango has rich, juicy flesh with no fiber. It is best to eat slightly before ripe.

First mango tree I planted. Third year, I got 28 this past season. The taste is amazing. Hoping year four is even better! Live in key west.
We got our first mango from our Julie tree this month! Zone pushing in Coastal Georgia...so that's a BIG deal to us. We even posted a short video on our page!
Jamaicans love their julies 😂

Margaret made me laugh. She was making what seemed like positive comments, and then she said, "It's not my favorite."
Planted Julie March 2023. Was told it's very slow. So far, its growth has outpaced Nam Doc Mai #4, planted at the same time. I'm very pleased, I might even get fruit by 2027🤞
You can eat the skin also, when it’s not over -ripe
Excellent! I wish more people did blind tasting reviews. When people know what they are eating, I think the brain can be tricked frpm a previous memory.
Wanted: A plant of Julie mango.
I lost my small Julie tree this year to the frost ☹️
