Holy cow....what a incredible find . She is a true beauty.....I hope it finds it way back on the road again. Absolutely stunning. Great video. Thanks for sharing
Still to this day - the best looking Mustang ever made - the 1965 Shelby Street version with Shelby Cragars. I want this car, but can't quite afford a half million dollars.
I don't know what Revology charges but I'm sure it's way more than this low income retiree can afford! Sniffle sniffle! 😭😭 @@ProtoType99468 BTW, PLEASE do something about the wind noise. It literally drowns out the vocals in 75% of the exterior shots. 🙏
Pay close attention to some of those loose parts lying around. My eyes saw a couple things in particular that literally are irreplaceable/rare beyond rare.
Probably not the way the man wanted to keep his building but he looked like he in declining health and who knows for how long they've been going downhill. Yes everything around was falling apart we don't know the whole story as to why but he did make sure that the love of his life was well cared for I mean look at the fucking thing just absolutely amazing. And to further shows love for the car he knew that it had to be re-homed and it's sad and I'm sure it broke his heart even more so be even sadder and harder on him if he had no immediate family that he could have entrusted the car to . I can relate my health is deteriorated severely in the last 10 years and I cannot look after my shit as well. I am luckily I have grown sons that helped me out and that are going to be future Guardians of the few toys that I have When I'm Gone . I don't think I could handle parting with something so beautiful in lovingly cared for, I would love to shake the man's hand and thank him for saving this beauty😊
@@Sid-xx4bz Quite possibly true. No judgement on my end, just pointing out the situation. I fully expected to see a car in very poor condition when the cover was removed. Looks like a fine example. Sorry to hear about your health battle.
@@Sid-xx4bzI empathize with you. I am 68 and years of working construction have about ruined my joints. I have pretty severe arthritis in both shoulders and a hip. Cancer in the other hip. I can't keep up with my place and my vehicles either. My kids live 900 mi away so I just keep plugging along and do what I can. FTR! LOL! I sure would like to know what the old boy got for that car though. He seemed to know what it was worth! I hope he lives in luxury for the rest of his time. He should be able to make a lot of checkmarks on that bucket list! LOL! 👍
Nice find! What's the story with the '69/'70 Mustang? Did you pick that up as well? Score any parts other than the intake & trans? What other cars were n the building? All owned by Dale?
I'm guesstimating that ole' Phil just put $400,000+ into his pocket! Crazy money for a car that you can't even drive like it was built to be driven. BTW: a stereo system in an original '65 GT350!? Its called that screamin' HiPo 289! Kinda like putting a stereo into a 427 Cobra with sidepipes.
Good to see old Phil has been hitting the gym and the barber. My God what a hell hole he lives in. Should be condemned. You had trouble breathing because of all the asbestos dust.
Car looked interesting but had to stop watching; camera movements were dizzying. Couldn't really see anything specific and then swinging away to rafters, then tires, then ....???

Really enjoyed the format of this video. It's always great to know the story. Beautiful car!
Purdy cool for sure, Nice Shelby
Very nice
Nice car. Somebody's got a rocking body...
You got that rite….
Another new video, another great car. You are the greatest Mustang hunter I've ever seen.
@@jamesglass4797 haha thank you sir. It’s a blast.
when he said light mold I was triggered with anger
😎👍🏻 just goes to show, they’re still out there hidden away in some old building along the highway
I prefer this body style over the 67 and 69

I walked by this place a thousand times never knew what was hiding inside
Check those steelies laying around garage, maybe some additional gold in there!
@@markhale8084 it’s a factory Cragar car.
What a find. Quite the juxtaposition to see such a well kept car inside a building that has clearly had no love.

Automotive perfection!
Cover or Not Someone cleaned/polished the outside awhiles ago compared to the other cars in there exposed to the elements..

Congratulations! I hope to see it a French Lick this year!
should be wearing a dust mask and gloves that mold is no joke.
His pride and joy and it’s stuck in that building?
How do you even find somethong like this AND how do you purchase it? That's what I want to know????
get a moving van - I'd take all those parts and the ford cars 🚛🚚

Did they not come with rear view mirrors on each side?
Passenger side was an option back then. It should have had one on driver's side though.
For sale?
Phone #'s on the building wall at 17:29 probably for sale, huge number I'm sure!
I want to buy
Didn’t Carol Shelby sign all the glove boxes 🤔
That wasn't until much later, you had to go to Shelbys place for that, or you could send in the glove box door.
No he didn’t. You could pay him to do it later. It doesn’t add any value to the cars anyway.
@@AmericanMustangs okay thanks for that 👍
Ole' Carroll would sign anything for the right price!
