I was always under the impression that the Shelby drop moved the new A arm holes 1 ( of 1-1/16) down but also slightly behind the originals......
It does just that, in relation to the lower control arm.
Did you have to use the shims or just reset the toe?
I used the shims to set my caster and camber, then set the toe.
Why did you change the rear shock plates on the bottom of the axle?
The original spring plates are flimsy and can barely be tightened without bending.
Jack up the way you did but leave the wheels on for cars that need a little shock tower spread
