    I just got this set today and putting it together. Your painting tips just brought this to another level. Dang, I hope I have the patience to do it like you showed. I never thought about diluting my oil paints(which I got) to paint my miniatures. Only got into Killteam 2 weeks ago and this Octarious scenery will just make if cooler. thx for the video.

    Wow! My girlfriend and I just bought this set and we're almost done assembling it and need to paint it and this tutorial is perfect. I really appreciate how you put the name of the paint on screen as you go through it. Great job!

    Really like your video again. Maybe a bit to short. But Then again alot of good info. You are doing terrain like i have done for years. Oils/pigment/effects and you are a long way. Sometimes i use the airbrush to speed it up a bit. To do filter with wash. And also weathering. Splatter and so on. Again really cool stuff.

    • @ChewiePainting
      @ChewiePainting  3 года назад

      Uhhh nice feedback - if I remember correctly you wanted to see some color after I posted the unboxing right ?;D that KS for the feedback - I felt like it was too long again since I usually just have a concentration span of cupple minutes only and tend to skip in videos - but next one on Krieg will be less cutting and more just straight painting :) yeah airbrush is also a huge help here - I just primed it with a can what also worked 👌

      @@ChewiePainting i know you do this in your spare time :) So I take it easy. Yes i wantet to see more "oils" on normal minis. But videos takes a lot of time to make. No i thing your right. If its to long i skip it fast to hahaha. Look forward for more. You are doing such a good job. Thx for doing this!!! Cheers from Copenhagen

    Super video, vielen Dank für die Inspiration! Mein Sub ist dir sicher :) Eine Frage zu den fertigen Terrain- Teilen: da gibt es mehrere Stellen, welche einen dezenten Kupferschimmer haben - kommt dies vom Balthasar Gold? Hast du neben den gezeigten Farben noch weitere benutzt? Danke und viele Grüße! :)

    • @ChewiePainting
      @ChewiePainting  3 года назад

      Thanks Donald :) no I just blow the access pigments off or use an empty brush - also I try not to use too much so it doesn't fall off :)

    Hast du die Öl Farben direkt auf die Citadel Farben gepackt oder vorher noch Lack drauf gemacht? Habe gelesen, dass Öl+White Spirit die Farben darunter angreift.

    • @ChewiePainting
      @ChewiePainting  3 года назад +2

      Hi erstmal danke für das Feedback - ja das Gerücht kursiert irgendwie aber es ist unproblematisch. Die Farben vorher sollten nur gut durchgezogen sein und es macht bestimmt auch was aus welchen White spirit man verwendet

  • @Theyeahaa
    @Theyeahaa 3 года назад +1

    Schönes Tutorial! Eine Frage habe ich dazu, verdünnst du die Ölfarben mit Wasser oder einem anderen Medium?

    • @ChewiePainting
      @ChewiePainting  3 года назад +1

      Mit Wasser funktioniert nicht - White spirit muss man nehmen - gibt's vielleicht n Windsor und Newton extra für Ölfarben aber auch literweise im Baumarkt :)
