Really enjoyed the video, I just got my Mavic 2 days ago and have yet to fly it. I also bought a second hand Nexus 7 tablet which is way larger (7.7/8" x 4"} than my Samsung phone, but it fits into the controller without any mods with the exception of a longer cable. You need to remove the cable that came with the Mavic and the slide clip. The Nexus then fits all the way in. It's tight, but it does work. I'll be taking it for my first flight soon.
Just ordered my Mavic! Like your videos , will be waiting for the next one! It's nice to have a Slow intro into drones, as some others don't take time to explain the whys and wherefores!

no not for regular flying, but if you want to fly with some of the features like active track and follow me you will need a network. I barely use a network connection anyways.
