I am very impressed by your videos; the level of detail, great filming, and the generosity with your expertise. The PTO on my 1991 Ford 1920 4wd no longer disengages. Can you speculate on the cause and remedy?
This could be bad PTO clutch discs. I would suggest having a local mechanic take a look at your tractor to see if he has further suggestions as well :)
@@SteinerTractorParts Thank you for responding to my question. I discovered yesterday that when I step on the clutch pedal the push rod to the transmission clutch moves, but the rod to the PTO area does not. If I could find a diagram showing the assembly of the push rod attachment I might be able to fix it. (My nearest tractor mechanic is a two hour drive, meaning truck rental, etc. I will have it hauled there if I must, but if it's just a cotter pin or something simple...)
O.K.... so I have a WHITE model 2-30 or 2-35 ... its a 4X4 .... just put a bush hog on it and the PTO will not engage unless I shut the motor off and the thing stops spinning completely .... pushing the clutch in, while its running seems to make no difference .... gotta shut the thing off every time you want to engage and disengage ......... IS THIS JUST AN ADJUSTMENT ISSUE? OR AM I MISSING SOMETHING ? .... Someone told me that it might have a separate clutch to engage and disengage the PTO .... I do not see anything on there that would do that........
Hie l have a new Holland t6050 pto is not operating. I chaked the sensor there is no power from the ECU , so l'm stuck and l don't know how to fix this ,please help.
My Case 930 CK PTO runs constantly, whether engaged or not. Think it may be a clutch issue. Thanks for this video!

Have you reached out to a New Holland dealership? They might have a schematic that could benefit. Just a thought.
@@SteinerTractorParts That's a good thought. Thanks.
I have a NH TL80A. The handle toengage the PTO broke off. How do I get into the semi-circle housing to repair this problem?
I have a 255 Massey and when I put a bush hog on and engage my pto its slipping is that how you adjust it
My case is that 1552 clutch engagement did not work for 540 only 540e will function, why and how to fix it
Sounds like this is a job for a local tractor mechanic. They would be able to steer you in the right direction.
