I'm a few days late to the comments on this video (been away) and reading though them now. Thanks for the constant support 👍👍
I watch for the epic photography but the b roll in this video was out of this world.
The Simba B-Roll may be your best work of all time.
The B&W cloud layer shot is FANTASTIC!!
Your filmmaking is now as good as the still photography. Knowing you had to place the video camera and then retrieve it to get these shots makes it all the more rewarding to see the footage. And the drone shots are nuts! It's a pleasure to go on these journeys with you.
The layers pictures, colour all the way baby! Way better than the B&w even without much clouds in the sky
I actually like the snow in the first picture, it's far from distracting and gives a nice hint about season and height.
The first black and white picture is fantastic!
Beautiful stuff, that coloured layers shot was gorgeous, the mountains looked almost transparent. Must be some sense of satisfaction to get conditions like that after hiking through the dark, great stuff
Hell Thomas, you, Adam and Gavin are like mountain goats...some of the places you hike to, and video yourselves while your doing it, and then go back over to collect the 'B' Camera. True dedication to your craft...and your job. Take care and stay safe. Looking forward to the next great video.
7:28 absolutely love that image. Makes me want to hike up a mountain in the early morning and take such an image too. Great Video!
with a 6x17 fuji !!
I didn't expect it to look so beautiful in colour.
@@Winston-1984 I really loved the colour version as well.
The photo of the misty layers for me was the money shot. Really a nice image. A " hang on the wall" photo indeed.
Great video Thomas! I personally prefere the colored version of the "layer" shot, looks just perfect to me
Yeah, me too : these colors are why you got out this morning out of your comfort zone
Wicked good morning, precariously perched indeed! 😎👍🏻
My Happy Place - Watching Tom's videos.. thanks, much appreciated.
1:50 Well that scene was amazing! I don't think anyone could resist not taking a b-roll there.
Loving both BW shots here.
The black and white hills one got an audible “whoa” from me. That one is great!
Welcome back! You've got you're mojo back.
B&W layers - wow! I’d be delighted with that
I learn so much from these videos. Love them.
Gorgeous! Even the B roll of you up on that floating rock ledge!
Amazing! Thank you for this journey!
The layers. Oh, Man, in mono, awesome.
Enchanting pictures.
I love the Colour shot of the layers, thanks for the video on this dark , damp, windy night
Photo 1 is spectacular. What an amazing location!
Wow, the coloured layers is stunning!
Love the layers in colour
OH, my vote on the "Layered" mountain show...definitely the Black and White version!!
One of your best days out in a while. Lots of keepers!
My favorite is the second shot when the sun was just barely up. Beautiful!
Fabulous.
I really like the patchy snow in the foreground. It makes you feel the elevation of where you are. Excellent!! Love your videos!
Incredibly enjoyable video Tom and an absolutely incredible brace of images. Thank you for your continued effort to produce top drawer weekly content. 👍
Thanks, Thomas. A wonderful episode.
You must be very satisfied with that day; every images has a "wow factor".
Beautiful set. Thank you for sharing the trip.
The layers shots are lovely.
I just wanted to say thanks for making these videos, they are truly inspiring and always give me food for thought in my own work
beautiful images! thanks for sharing again.
Quite liked the snow in the foreground on the first photo.
Beautiful. Next level Thomas.
I was thinking I really wanted to see the coloured version and then you showed that too. Definitely prefer the colored one. Simply beautiful
That drone shot with you on top of the scramble... Took my breath away. Keep being my photography inspiration please.
That first image you debated with the snow…I like the inclusion of the snow because it tells the story of it being the cold of winter. Without it, it could have been any season.
Great video again!! Beautiful location…and those peaks - 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
You are really at the top of your game Tom. Stunning photos again.
Very nice photo. Thank you for your time and effort making this for us.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You're making me homesick young Heaton, more so than ever. Simply glorious. Glider Vac? Sorry, I couldn't resist ;-p
Great work Thomas. Thnx
Honestly Thomas, your videos are incredible. Thank you for continually putting out such beautiful content.
Wonderful adventure and video. Well done. Thanks!
Happy to see you sharing the route. Enjoyed the vid...Ta
Thanks for such beautiful video Thomas 🤩🤩🤩
This was awesome!. Layers in b/w are cute, but in colurs the layers are gorgeous. I absolutely love layer photography from mountains!
Who can resist walking out onto the Cantilever!!!! Cracking video and mountain shots.
Beautiful photos.
For me,most enjoyable images for some time. Loved the Mono layers.
Great work Thomas the layers of light on in the morning light are beautiful , wonderful video and great cut away drone shoot . You have hit a rich vein of work in recent weeks look forward to next year’s calendar.
Thomas, awesome adventure and some very beautiful shots. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful layers photo Thomas!
Fantastic video Thomas, some great images, love the coloured version of the layered image, love the combination of the cool and warm tones.
Wow fantastic stuff 1st class pics keep the good pics coming📷📸
Great video - thanks for posting!
Wow the layer shot is incredible!
Some keepers in there Mr Heaton
That third shot of the layered hills in black and white was breathtaking!👍
You really have an on-point schedule when it comes to releasing your videos! Just dropped out of the shower post work: Notification about a new video. I shall now watch and enjoy it.
That was one of the happiest videos you've shared recently, borne out by the stunning photos. Preferred the B&W layers to the colour one myself, and the B-roll at 2:00 reminded me of "Earthquake Weather."
Both black n white and color look perfect
Great morning, great light wish i can go for a hike also
Great video. Loved the colour version of the layers, gorgeous.
I absolutely love the “layers” photograph. It would work perfectly framed on a wall with the minimalist image you took previously with your film pano camera of the beach and the distant island. Your use of negative space is so good and makes for truly captivating images that draws the eye in and simply won’t let it go. Fantastic
Goodness, what a wonderful video Thomas! And such a great idea to show all images again at the end. So beautiful... thanks!
2 thumbs up for the black and white photos, especially the layered photo. awesome
Thomas Heaton - OMG! Those two images with the fog in the mountains are just spectacular; probably the best I've ever seen of any landscape photographer - ever! Thank you for sharing your journey, take care and be safe out there....
What a spot!! Nice hike, nice images! Fantastic!!
Fantastic images.
Love the set of images there Tom! My favourite was the colour version of the layers. Simplicity at its best there. And subtle colours.
Great video and definitely the coloured layers shot
looked like a nice morning for you. great images and video. Great work. Thank you
Beautiful pictures Thomas!
Beautiful hike Thomas, wish I could have joined in the experience. Loved the 16:9 BW layers shot. Simplicity and beauty.
Love the Layers shot, The Colour version is the best by miles
Stunning!
Lovely work, Tom. Seeing those layers makes any ascent worth the climb. Appreciate the effort you put into filming this. 👍🦘🇦🇺
Fantastic photos Thomas.
Great video Tom. Love the B/W layers one .. keep it up!
Stunning work, Tom! Love all the images.
Both the B&W and color shots are fantastic. Also, that B-roll is awesome! 😁
Great stuff as usual. Thanks
So enjoyed this video! Awesome!
Wow! Thomas those were some spectacular photos! Very. Nice! Great video!
Nicely done Video Thomas, I am amazed at the amount of thought and planning you put into every one of your photos. They were all epic (even the first with the snow)!
Great video Tom, lovely images. Especially that first one, lovely composition and light and I think the snow adds to the narrative of the image. 👏👏👏
Stunning images, the layered peaks just so nuanced.
Take care.
Looks like you were in the right place at the right time there Thomas! Great photos.
AMAZING Video !! The color layers shot is great ! It is worth it to wake up early !
Awesome, as always!
B-Roll scene was epic...
Great video, Beautiful shots.
Lovely video Thomas. I also love the "layer" photographs (can't make my mind up which one I like best) and the final image. Thanks for telling us about the route!
That coloured layers shot is ridiculously good. Definitely the pick of the video in my mind.
