1975 Johnson Evinrude 25hp Starter Motor Rebuild

1975 Johnson Evinrude (OMC) 25hp statrer motor rebuild. The brushes didnt need replacing. I fully cleaned out the internals. Wire brushed off all rust. repainted the housing. Repair the winding connections to the brush and repair the old broken down isolation material between the stator windings and casing.

At the end of your video, it looks like the motor is tilted upwards, Is there a locking mechanism to hold it there, or is it just propped there for your video??
