Just got the K6 and wow!! Super comfortable and light weight! Love it!
Just ordered mine today, replacing my Ruroc Atlas 2 Ghost.
The pin lock is anti fog shield inside the visor...not the shield attachment to the helmet
It's the 2 pins on inside of faceshield to attach seperate fog shield to visor
You can also half push the shied latch into the mouth gard lock to keep it in the cracked open position
Just FYI the hinge system is not the pin lock. The pin lock is the little pins further up on the face shield that allow you to put a insert in which eliminates fogging on the face shield.

I just got mine and wow how light it is compared to my shoei RF-SR . It’s very comfortable too
I have a Shoei RF-SR that absolutely roars with wind noise leaving my ears rings with a headache for days. I've been considering this K6. Is your K6 quiet compared to to your Shoei RF-SR?

Yes, not a problem at all. Even with gloves.
Hello, I'm planing to buy an AGV K6 but I do have a question regarding the blue face shield - does it get too dark? Can you use it over night driving?
I have the dark blue and it cannot be used at night.
Helmet is the lightest I’ve ever had.. even lighter than the Corsa R..
What is with the sun?
How well is it holding up now after having it a couple years? I heard it's not built that great and some things are falling apart after only a couple months use. And that water can get in through the visor seal. Do the cheekpads still have some thickness to them now?
I need to replace the inner cheekpads but can't find any in stock for the past few months.

Got the K6 for 2 seasons now. Good : good vision, light, comfy. Bad:, the helmet strap is a bit to short. Visor opening mechanism is sh!t, really now other way to put it, from the first lock position it is o.k, but from totally closed it a pain to open even after 2 seasons i still have issues opening it and hate it every time, it feels cheap and doesn't work well. Overall i'm pretty happy with the helmet besides the poor visor lock mechanism.,
Sorry to hear that. I actually have two of them now and love them. I will look at something else if anything was as white as this is K6
In my opinion, Snell is not a good certification. Lots of shady sh*t for a supposedly non-profit organization.
AGV never submits their helmet to snell, not even their pista who had 5 star FIM which is a whole another world of better certificate. Instead, agv gets the SHARP certification, which although not as complicated and stringent as FIM certification, still a whole lot better than SNELL, And K6 got 5 full star from SHARP!

can you please help me with size comparison . my head measurement is 55 and i am ordering a size s. can you please share your head measurement and helmet size so that i can compare and get idea of the fit. thanks a ton and sorry for the trouble
I am about 59cm
Sizes are on point with the chart, 60 cm head fits a L
You've mentioned that purchased K6 because of light weight, have you tryed Shoei NXR ? It weight even less. I'm in decesion right now which of those to buy. Also isnt it anoying having "locking metal ring" in center of visor when you are riding with open visor ?
RF1200(NXR) is now an outgoing model replaced by RF1400; they both are in the range of 3.5lb, K6 is 2.9lb

How quiet is it?
Average but quieter with the chin skirt in.
I bought this helmet in xl and i find it a little heavy! I ride a ktm 890 duke and I’m a little forward so it makes it heavier!!
how heavy is the XL? what is the exact weight? im planning to buy it too in XL
I swapped for the L!!! Take a size down!! I’m xl in almost every helmet but not the k6!! Fits perfect !! Sizes are written in the helmet!! On my scale the xl was 1.474kg and the L is 1.372kg
I wear the M-L which fits perfect and is very light. I am very happy with the AGV K6 so far.
