    Great video. I just bought a K6 Secret paint scheme. It fits and feels great running down the road.

    I have this helmet and love it.. I'm smack in the middle between small and medium and went with a small. Was tight at first but broke in really well over a thousand or so kilometers. This video covers the features quite well though I would like to add a few bits... The chin bar is close to the face and "kissable" if that sort of thing bothers you. The d-ring strap is quite short, you won't be able to use the "hack" where leave the d-ring strapped on maximal length and slide helmet on/off easier. And the chin slider mechanism has an annoying rattle in the closed position due to wind, I ride a naked bike so this may not be an issue for those behind screens. All things aside, I love the helmet.

      Hi Jeff, thanks for getting in touch with those very valid points. I was able to get the lid on and off without fully undoing the strap as you say - but it was more of a struggle than usual. Cheers, Tony

      Thanks Jeff for the comment on the closeness of the chin bar. I went with an MS in the K6 and was worried it when i tried it on that it was too close but couldn't imagine shifting a shell size up to the ML. The helmet otherwise is very comfortable so good to know you felt similar at first about the chin bar. Cheers.

    Hi, just wondering if there is any issue with wearing sunglasses? with some helmets, I have trouble fitting a pair of eye glasses, thanks.

      I've just been and checked this for you. I was able to get some glasses with thin arms inside OK, but if the arms were much chunkier then I reckon it might prove tricky. Hard to say for sure how someone else's head/specs combo would work, though. Cheers, Tony

    Is the 50% tinted visor dark enough for sunny days? Just got the 80% dark tinted visor and recognized that it’s not street legal which could lead to problems with the insurance in case of an accident. So I have to return it. Great review and awesome helmet!

      I've used quite a few 50% tint visors over the years and find it enough to take the sting out of riding in sunlight. Obviously not as good coverage as a race visor on very bright days, though. I hope that helps. Cheers, Tony

    You could just wear sunglasses if its sunny? I believe this helmet has groves to allow sunnies to slide in easily?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  Год назад

      You could, yes - and the K6 was designed to accommodate spectacles. Cheers, Tony

    Hello Tony, could you tell me about size and confort between this and the rpha 11 pro, also K6 has 4 shells but looks almost same size Ms and M with the hjc, do you think the Rpha will be a better helmet? Thanks

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  2 года назад

      Hi, I would say the K6 is a more solid helmet than the HJC. The fit for the HJC is tighter around the face, as befits a race helmet, and the MS-ML thing in AGVs leaves some people just wishing they'd do a straight-up 58cm medium. Usual caveats apply - the best helmet is the one that fits you best. It'll cause fewer distractions (safer) and work better if you're unlucky enough to call on its main function. So try in advance if you can. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    Does the k6 come with a chin skirt. I do moto vlogging,and wind noise is a concern

    i plan buying this online , i wear 62-63 XXL in hjc i90 , in agv k6 website it says 63-64 XXL should i stay same size?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  Год назад

      Safest option would be to try and get to a store and try one on. If not, then 63cm is the overlap point and it would seem sensible to start by ordering XXL and seeing how that feels. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    Is sizing on all AGV helmets the same? I tried K1 large and it was perfect - would K6 fit as well as K1?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  2 года назад +1

      Both have the same size range so that gives you a good starting point for the K6, but I found the K6 to come up a little bigger than lids like the K1 and K3-SV, so you may need to swap for an ML. Cheers, Tony

    Does it come with a chin and breath guard?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  2 года назад

      The breathguard is pre-installed and there's a chin curtain supplied in the box, so you can fit that if you wish. Sorry for the delay in responding. Cheers, Tony

    The helmet in the video that you have on is WAYYY too big for you.

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  3 года назад +3

      It's an ML and it was a little looser than ideal, but an MS was uncomfortably tight and crushed my head, so I didn't have much choice. Usually AGV's ML size is perfect for my 59cm bonce, but it wasn't so on this occasion. I think 'way too big' overstates it a little (especially with capitals and some extra Ys, but hey-ho 😁) Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    • @n.elliott9122
      @n.elliott9122 3 года назад +1

      @@sportsbikeshop Okay, so no offensive Capitals from now on. When you actuated the visor up and down, the helmet moved with it. It does give possibly new and unfamiliar riders the wrong impression on how a helmet should fit. Cheers.

    Too heavy for carbon helmet, NXR weigh much less, almost on 100g.
