I would strongly like to suggest that many (most?) of the guys who say that "made in China" is a deal breaker for them - that they have knowingly purchased a knife made in China in the last few years. I bet it's more of a political statement than anything else. After all, they buy all sorts of other products that are made in China regularly, because doing otherwise is close to impossible to avoid.

Perhaps. I can't read minds so I don't speculate. Thanks for watching, man!👍

    I’m the same.
There’s really only one actual deal breaker for me….price.
If it costs too much, I won’t buy it.
    End of story.

Cost is the great decider 😂

There are at least 10 copies on my wishlist that i would never pay what the originals are asking for not even a tenth of what some ask... And if it wasn't for China we would be paying $49 for $5 product... P.S i kinda like the textered paint on that dragon knife...

Very true... But I disagree about the dragon knife 😂

Detent that is too strong for the deployment method drives me crazy. Recently got an acorn from vosteed that has a detent so stiff that front flipping it is impossible. Great video.

Oh yeah, a stiff detent can ruin an otherwise great design. Thanks for watching, man!

Good topic. For me price is the first deal breaker. If I can't afford it, it's not going to happen. And in the same thought, if the price of the knife doesn't reflect the materials it's made of. A $250 knife made of 440a is a big maybe. And past experience with the maker. If the last knife of theirs I purchased I had to send back will have an impact on how I feel about buying another one. Thanks Good list

I'm going to start using the term "big maybe" more😂

china made...price...any damascus blade...ease of carry, I love Buck knives but HATE their leather sheaths - I'm talking 119, 120, 124, etc fixed blade stuff...the 113 skinner sheath and the 192 Vanguard are great...the 110 is ok, but prefer an aftermarket made in the USA. BTW, I own 20+ Buck knives....so, js 🙂. Enjoyed the talk, honesty is what counts. 👍

Ease of carry is actually huge! If I ever redo this video, I'm going to include that. Thanks for watching, man!

If I purchase a knife and there’s any issues , especially sharpness , it goes back . And as far as the China deal. 90 percent of us buy Chinese knives so…. 😂kershaw “USA” made knives are assembled by Chinese machines 😂😂😂
