I think all possible designs of knifes are made. And I think you would always find an older knife that nearly fits to a new design. It is the old form follows function thing. This knife you reviewed is in my opinion an absolutely great knife for a great price. DC53 is in my opinion a great and easy to sharpen steel. And it fits so perfect in my hand. Not all things from China are bad....

It's a spear. Not really meant for cutting, so never that sharp. Meant for thrusting. That said, it is dull even for a spear.

It's a great weapon if being attacked by a person with a shorter weapon or an attacking animal.

Amazing knife, feels completely premium in the hand, tolerances are fantastic, bearings are great, and the blade is razor sharp. People dog on this without holding it or opening it. It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be, but golly is it a fantastic piece of kit. Love mine, want to buy another in green just to have two.

Great locks, won't close on fingers. Not that we ever put pressure on the top of the blade that would force it to close, anyway, but the lock is a sales point, even if it fixes a problem that wasn't there in the first place. Now, moving on, lay the open knife on it's side on the table, with the blade extending past the edge of the table. Now apply progressive weight to the blade and see how fast the joint (or steel?) fails!! Much of the time it is in use, there is lateral pressure on the blade but no one seems to test and quantify the results of that one. Not on any knives is this tested. Why not?

I’ve watched a few reviews of this knife now, and from what I’ve seen the reviews have been positive, I think the design is very inoffensive and quite attractive to me, I think for the price it’s exactly what I look for in a fixed blade, I do also wish they sacrificed a little bit of handle for extra blade length, but overall I think I’m going to go ahead and pick this up, thanks for the review

I think the outdoor reviews and photography is the way to go. Someone needs to replace Joe Robinet but with a greater focus on knives. I'm a bit over wordy unboxing or chop chop videos with no scenery. Anything where you are out and about and using stuff. Leave the Temu I think you will be way too harsh for the low quality. Thanks

As a piece of rope, At least I know I’ll be safe. On a serious note however, I would like to know what you look for when searching for a fixed blade. I just made my first knife, went well just no handle yet, and I was basically going off what I liked and thought would work. I would just like to know what other people like in fixed blades. If you wouldn’t mind sharing what you think works and what doesn’t it would be a great help. Thanks, love the vid.
