Great video! As a late 90’s ship, it looks like it’s in great condition for its age. Although the lower decks look a little outdated, it still has it early princess, traditional Grand Class ship style. Lots of memories and nostalgia
Got off the ship a mth ago. Mind u international cafe was not 24 hrs as advertised. 1am-5am shelves were empty. Have to beg for food. Staff gave a stupid look n gave leftovers! Director of cafe said cleaning. Yet there were no signs telling us we could still order at all! They just want the easy way out. After feedback, shelves empty as usual 1am-5am n no sign to say food available can order. During disembarkation, I was shouted at by a passenger to queue despite having priority disembarkation. They merge with normal disembarkation. No line to differentiate at all in the later part. Yet staff said nothing! Never even clarify I have priority disembarkation. I shouted back I priority disembarkation! Then she said oh! No apology whatsoever! Main thing was, staff did NOTHING despite witnessing! Dare not offend their passengers! Then can offend me a suite passenger! Suites a joke to them! Spend money elsewhere. May or may not try other princess but Grand sure blacklist. Also room here spoil there spoil. Lights flickering. Fixed but flicker again. Take 2-3 hrs to come. Basin overflow. Bathtub water won't go down. Fix n fix. Water then went down so quickly cos stopper loose. Bathtub filled 5 mins all water drained by itself! Old ship! Waste of money!
My steward n his supervisor were very good which somehow make up for it. Made me felt much better. However, still very disappointed with this old ship esp the room itself international cafe. Room service no better. Confused order mostly. Then at 4am, since no international cafe, I ordered room service but got cancelled by them with no notification at all! Lucky I checked after 5 mins. They have the cheek to say they cleaning! So no food! What the heck! Grand princess is a joke really! Anyway, if ask why find food at 4am? I got gastric n must eat.
I am sorry you had a bad experience on the Grand Princess. I hope that Princess Cruises will listen to your feedback and make it right with you and your family.

You get what you pay for, even at Suite-level. The Grand is their oldest vessel and has the cheapest sailing prices.
